Ping spikes for the past few days(PingPlotter image uploaded)

I am going to call them tomorrow with the WinMTR results and ask what they can do about it cause most of these things are new to me and never in my life dealt with network issues. I dont know how other online games would feel but the poe experience been horrible the past few days.

Do you connect via Wi-Fi or hardwired ethernet from your PC?

Is the device your PC is connecting to a separate Wi-Fi router + separate modem?
or
Is the device your PC is connecting to an all in one unit?


If you have a separate modem and separate router before your PC.. are you able to bypass the router and plug your PC directly into the modem? If yes, then reboot the modem + PC so they pair and see if you still experience the same issues.

If yes > ISP
If no > your router

Yeah, if that's the case.. run a few more of those WinMTR tests to some other locations to get some consistency in your test results. Try a DNS server near you... maybe a website or two. They should all look the same if that 5% packet loss is at the same spot every time. Then call your ISP and show them the tests.
