Help with my filter. Make "chrome recipe" higher priority than "show rares"
honestly, cool you guys solved it, but is it not just 10x easier to just write your own filters by hand? i feel like the time and effort you guys put into solving this was less time than it took me to learn how to just write filters by hand and then you have 100% control and nothings ever really an issue again.
you would literally just fix this by moving the bit that does chrome items above the bit that does rare items. or not, what do i know, u guys do your thing whatever way is best for you its all good. just putting it out there as an idea. |

Yeah but you need to learn how to write your own filter to be able to do that and it takes more time to learn that filterblade which is very quick for starting out.
I agree it's much better in the long run to be able to make your own filter and be able to customise it directly. |

Yeah, I agree with you snorkle, it literally would just be as easy as you put it. But I don't know how to edit a filter by hand. And so I also agree with Belegur on this issue.
If you or anyone else wants to recommend a guide for that, please do so! |

Cool, i'll check it out. When I started using these premade filters I was only interested in playing the game, but i've got a bit more interested in these things now.
I actually prefer to play without filter on campaign these days, but once you hit maps, it is just too much. I remember never using a filter before first time I did a delve node and encountering full screen of text. Hope they've got some innovations for that in POE2. Audio options on the filter is something I like, for hearing things drop off screen. Overall I think everyone has done a great job with filters, just think the amount of loot that drops is over the top, even in ruthless. D2 seemed to have the drop rates perfect, maybe that is not a template for POE drops with an extended loot and currency system, but I think loot filters have been a crutch for them never improving this. A couple of years ago they made a slight change to this with unique drop rates on bosses seemed to be a bit of an improvement, but not much since. Most of the things they added recently was actually worse in my opinion. Like archnemisis mods dropping so many six links you need multiple portals to collect them. Magic find culling and having quant so out of control that it then needs to be removed. I think it is something they need to pay a bit more attention to. |

" Thanks! I'll try out editing the file directly next time I run into a snag in filterblade. |
