You'd solve the current situation with that but it doesn't fix future purchases. Anyone spending points 2025 on PSN would still not be able to use that Stash/MTX on PC and vice versa.

Honestly i think it's a HUGE problem when you advertise cross-progression and average joe who doesn't read poe-news or forums regulary starts playing POE2 on PC, buys a supporter-pack, does act1-2 on PC and wants to continue act3 on PS5 and then realize he can't use his stash anymore... catastrophe!

Like, "sure, you won't allow for the sale of MTX on your platform without taking a cut from others, but you didn't say we couldn't give free MTX to our players".

Going to go out on a limb here and say that's exactly what the legal agreement developers have to make in order to sell/list their games on the PSN store.

It's also why physical items aren't included in the console supporter packs cause they're not allowed to offer incentives outside the platform for purchases made on the storefront.

YATA, I am in the same boat as you but I do not blame GGG I blame Sony. They did the same thing with Warframe, Smite, and tried to do it with Fortnite. Sony has very anti-consumer practices. They enjoy a walled garden approach to the managing of their platform since the PS4 generation.

The likely route to this current state of affairs is GGG made the same request to Sony, that they sent to Xbox, Epic, and Steam for purchased MTX to be used freely and Sony rejected it. Sony then presented their own request that GGG rejected.

You posit that it is unfair that PlayStation players cannot freely use their MTX and I agree. We diverge in that I blame Sony for making further demands for this to happen. I blame Sony for their greedy and anti-consumer policies and practices. It is why my PS5 is dusty but my gaming PC and Xbox are clean and often in use.

I just want ggg to sell there max u bought another console/pc like at 20-25% of the price.. namely ggg will get little extra money.. and it keeps baby daddy Sony happy with there cut even though it would be small amount… also they can do the merge with it but have code so it show up on ur main psn account or what not so u can buy the discount price to add it to it
