Official? No. But the worries appeared instantly when Grinding Gear made the announcement and as best I can tell GGG have said nothing since. We do not know whether the stash will be locked between platforms, but given our current knowledge it's not an unreasonable assumption. It would be excellent if Grinding Gear would clarify, but until they do we have no reason to dismiss the concern out of hand. We have no real reason to freak out and pitch forks either, but the PS5 users expressing this concern have every right to do so.

AITA? GGG is point blank, allowing an unfair monetary advantage to be given to all other platforms. If you can't allow SONY users to transfer MTX then don't allow anyone, I know this will anger many users, but then they'll feel the frustrations that SONY users have. It's that simple.
Imagine if GGG told you that your MTX wouldn't transfer and infact you'd have to pay all of your RMT again.
How would you feel if you lost all of your Day 1 supporter packs and hideouts and transmogs and then told " heyyyyy..... wanna buy another support pack? :)"
This is truly unimpressive coming from a company that I used to have a lot of respect for. I will limit all spending on POE from here on out. I will not be buying premium supporter packages ever again. I feel sick to my stomach even buying the supporter pack I did on this account. I'm just one person so the couple thousand dollars less per fiscal year they don't receive from me won't matter to them at all.

Don't bother replying "Blame Sony". They're not granting an unfair monetary advantage to anyone at all. This is entirely GGG. ALL MTX should be stuck to POE 1 and EVERYONE should start brand new on POE 2.
do tell me what advantage my mtx is giving me in game

90% of playerbase should "suffer" because 10% did not get allowed to transfer MTX because of Sony? No

The same company that put a blockade on cross platform gaming for years?
The same company that forces PC users to sign up for a PSN account to play an single player game
Sony, The company that Locks games and DLC to their own platform permanently when their direct computers are selling games on Sony's platform as well as PC
Sony is a terrible greedy company that sucks the life out of everything is sets it's gaze on, They probably wanted GGG make it so Xbox and PC users can't share their MTX between poe 1 and 2 and only keep it for PSN users

Wait where does it say this? I can't find it. I went to the playstation a while back because I liked playing on my projector. I also only have Mac systems in my house and the Mac experience always sucked with POE. So if this is true this does suck. Not only because I chose to play on PSN but also because the Mac support is very lacking.

if you just play on your PS5 and don't worry about crossplay it won't impact you at all.
