I was surprised to not be 0000 or 0001 because i was the first, but i got lucky and got nice looking number that is like hitman (agent47) so it is win for me.

" Yes, that is the whole reason for adding the number so that there were no conflicts when the the different account systems that may have contained the same names were merged together. |

lol I'd expect people complaining about their number on reddit, but not here lol. I'm waiting for the post from someone who said they are going to uninstall the game because they don't like their number.

" Because migrating and merging massive data sources together is a monumental pain in the ass and trying to attach significance to a number that doesn't need significance is just creating extra work and extra chances for the process to fail for no benefit. " There's also the issue of aesthetics. If all (or 99.99%) of players had #0001, things would look a bit drab around here. If the numbers are to remain on display, I'd much rather some contrast, and I think GGG are probably on that same page. |
