Sony's leverage comes from the threat of kicking the game off their platform if a developer doesn't agree to all of their demands. So yes, they could give every player who bought MTX on a PS4/5 a copy of them to use on PC/XBOX; but if they do everyone who plays on PS would have to switch platforms to keep playing.

Hi, I have not played for awhile now and wanted to jump back on POE2, I have been gaming previous on my PC and recently purchased an xbox series x which I am using most of the time for convenience. I topped up and purchased a couple of mtx and packs on POE1 PC and bought a lot of stash tabs. Once POE 2 is out, and I play it on my xbox,will I still be able to use them or do I need to purchase tabs again? sorry for asking, i am having a hard time understanding the announcement.

Not sure if this has been asked yet. If I play couch-coop with another player, does the other player need an access key as well?

Agreed. I don't understand why they were unable to get the MTX to work between PC and Playstation when so many other games have been able to do so.

Most of my MTX was purchased on PC, my computer isn't strong enough to run PoE 1 or 2 anymore and I was looking forward to using it on my PS5. The delay of releasing early access to implement this account merge only to get shafted because they weren't able to figure it out does not give me a lot of confidence in the future of the games.

If so, then thats great. I will just quit the PS Version, if Sony doesnt want crossprogression ...

Sub account doesn't seem to work on steam client, it keeps forcing me to stay the top option and won't let me select the one I want to swap to. Any fixes?

I can't even link my Sony account to my PC account. It keeps saying you can't merge two accounts with the same login methods.

Picking random discriminators after OG usernames of people that paid to support GGG when it was a tiny studio in beta and not allowing us to change them is so not cool

Support told me they couldn't because it's random when naming/renaming an account, so your best option is making 10k accounts to grab every discriminator possible and then requesting a double/triple name change to move account to a different name and back, hoping to land the discriminator you want, or requesting upwards of 20k name changes hoping to get the one you want.
