its a shame really, poe 1 was so good too
sad it went downhill in such a fast way

GGG's fault. Implimenting the div /ex swap lost them ALOT of player base. People that worked hard building up currency over the years completely wiped out over 1 dumb decision

thats not even that big of a deal. its more that they almost completly abandoned this game because of poe 2. now its more evident than ever. if poe2 doesnt fully launch next year then we will probably only get 2 poe leagues again all year.

talking about the ex/div swap really does bring up a sour memory.

GGG claimed that ex/divs had equal droprate.

realistically this effect only affects STD players, u know... people who built up their wealth of years of playing.

GGG could have given us a temporary STD vendor recipe that allows for a 1:1 exchange.

but no. no fucks given.

when questioned about it, chris himself said that we should have diversified our investments.

theres many things that the devs did that i hated. chris responding this way, seemingly smugly, takes the cake.

i stuck around because i still had a ton of legacy gear and still did have fun with the game.
