GGG's words on this is that PoE will continue to get leagues.

With PoE2 hogging the development time it was inevitable that the next league would be delayed (and even in the past with FoO, the league was extended for it's development, so not unheard of from GGG)
Once it has launched the devs would be split more evenly and the league cycle will resume (though it may stick to a 4 month cycle)

What are you talking about? PoE 2 is far from being finished. It almost has no content, just some acts. These people think if open beta will be available it can replace the huge game with tons of content just from the start. GGG didn't even announce release date.

I'd argue that it has been consistently uphill since Ancestor. Fun, empowering content, with a ton of QoL. I've enjoyed 2023/24.

I kinda wish GGG would announce they won't add faustus and settlers to the core game just to watch the meltdowns, then "revisit" the decision to give the players some agency.
