It's like GGG doesn't want higher twitch viewership and relevance during an upcoming holiday season.

in POE2 I hope not and dont want to drops like mirror of kalandra
I hope they don't add this currency.

heck if a titty streamer was streaming POE it doesnt necessarily mean people who watch are interested in poe.

Disregarding the misnomer in this context, DCLara definitely got people interested in PoE. Shame she got harassed so much that she stopped. Though I'd say she pulled out at the right time. Got recognition, made some money, then peaced out gracefully. I still kinda miss her, she was fun.

If PoE 2 has no CWDT builds, I will quit for good.
GGG like every other company wants exposure/advertising, especially during relevant times like the holiday season at the most popular places within the gaming industry like Twitch, and if they released PoE2 early access now they're aware most would be done with the campaign by then, and the lack of endgame info further indicates of their awareness what exactly PoE2 early access will deliver, and how long the retention will last for the majority.

GGG lack of interest to retain the PoE1 community with a more rewarding, appealing and hopefully challenging competitive event in a period when the Settlers league will be longest on record is a further indication they want the PoE1 community to follow, purchase and play the PoE2 early access.

OMG! What!? Are you serious? Do you ACTUALLY think that a developer making a sequel to a game wants its fanbase to try/buy their new game? That's... Preposterous. They should be making everything they can to prevent people from purchasing their product.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

Like how the tens of thousands (share holders, game devs with rest of the employees) did everything they could to prevent me spending more than $90 USD on newly released games/products after Jan 11th, 2011?

GGG so far is also succeeding in preventing me to purchase PoE2 early access based on the current info I have, like how it prevented me to support 3.25 based on my retention, especially how it'll be the longest league ever, not just quote "being one of the most successful leagues ever" as they recently announced.

Anyways, back on thread subject, whatever and whenever GGG makes every single choice, well it comes with a certain cost/price. The quality of games being produced and consumed, and what more of will be coming is a reflection on the markets available and their willingness or tolerance to consume what I did once as well a very long time ago.

Until this day I remember well the lengths I went to find more free time and money so I could "experience" every single arcade and console game from the early 90s.

We "all" do remember that. You will never get that time (or feeling) back, and it has more to do with you growing "old" than it has to do with the industry. I held the record on Street Fighter 2 for several years. Damn I was proud back then.

and in loosing you as a paying customer they got more customers over the years. A lot more. And guess what? this trend will continue still. Seems they do it right. Now there are sure some hardcore dudes that like to see their names on a competitive ladder. But there is already a mode for that. Go play ruthless and play the hard game and show all how awesome you are.
But wait a second, it seems not really anyone cares? It seems POE is more about crafting insane shit and making insane builds. Getting currency for it and all other mechanics leading up to it. And the twitch viewers want exactly that. Seems you should go and search for a new game. This one will never be yours again.
And poe2? Nope sorry, nobody cares for ladders and rankings in a single player ARPG. they never really did. Because If that was a market, someone would tap it hard.
