It's like GGG doesn't want higher twitch viewership and relevance during an upcoming holiday season.

@BaumisMagicalWorld, except "bullying" doesn't work on me, but sadly it works with others, which is why these forums aren't as active/social.

I've been around long enough to know how in the end it's often the trolls/bullies who need "rescuing" from the mods and if that's not the case, they'll eventually delete their post, because it makes them look bad, and often these "generic" tactics are used solely (in this instance toward me) to take the bait, respond in a similar manner in the process violating the Code of Conduct that would lead to probation/censorship.

I've said it before, in an ideal world moderation would be unnecessary, unless it's related to exploits like some spamming that would disrupt the social platform/forums. Moderators exist to protect/defend others fairly who're unable to respond in the same/similar manner to "bullies/trolls" and when that's not the case, well GGG should be more concerned, because just like how we're expected to abide to the terms of service, GGG also is expected to abide by the "terms of service" from within the region it's servicing/offering this product.

Most here don't expect the mods to acts quickly/swiftly on every post that breaks the code of conduct, but if those posts do get reported and remain visible within days, well that's another thing.

Anyways, back to the thread subject, it feels like the November 7th Settlers "reset" was purposely designed to give something to the community, but not enough that would diminish the PoE2 early access sales coming next month.

ok
Seems like ai bot posts. Surprised these aren't filtered/removed.
I posted in the thread asking for an ignore/block feature for the forums so those that do not want to see posts from certain people can avoid them. Apparently that will get removed but no posts by this one person gets removed.
@Thraesh, perhaps it's because you're posting/requesting it at the wrong place. You should know what's the GGG support email address for any inquires.

Finally, most here are aware when and how the mods are moderating, because they're expected to be professional, which means they can't and won't moderate based on their "feelings/opinions".

Mods can and usually will moderate when they have the permission through the terms of conduct outlined within these forums.

It didn't start as a bot account, but it could absolutely be replaced by a decent LLM today.

"Claude - criticize TESLA in the style of Kopogero from pathofexile forums, no less than 10 paragraphs."
Never had so much annoyance watching PoE streamers. Thanks to GGG. But yeah, let that "LOLPOG-auditory" to watch their gods and phap.

We're all playing someone else's game, while Chris Wilson alongside Johnathan and others probably did the same once, except their career paths/choices also aligned with the gaming industry and probably end up enjoying the process of developing their game equally or more, especially with a potential to be highly rewarding.

We can criticize the game/company like we've done it through a decade and despite how much we want to get this or that, we'll always get what's available on the menu. Those who criticize GGG still display interest/care toward their product and whenever there's some news like lately, for some (including me) it has a lot to do with being the only/last game that I see myself playing/supporting.

In an ideal world we would forget about PoE within few years at most thanks to superior games/competition or at worst keep PoE in our rotation, because it did fit well with its F2P monetizing model with minimum access and that's how GGG experienced growth/success in its initial stage, by being aware of its limit as well as its competition at the time.

There's tens of thousands who have the skill set (careers) to develop a game exactly like PoE1 or PoE2, but given what the industry hasn't delivered through the decade makes the lead game developer position/role (person in charge of "cooking" a game I would also participate and support), well they would have to match my own gaming resume and intellect.

Star Citizen is the latest example why the industry is being held more accountable, while the market accumulates gaming exp the importance is more about who/what we're supporting rather than how much. I can understand and relate better with those who're in my place, because now and for a while we've NEEDED PoE to be our main game able to retain/maintain our interest, while the rest have failed.

Ladder resets and competition is one concept that fits well for an "online" ARPG, where PoE has the advantage due to abundance of single player games. The latest November 7th league reset isn't prestigious in anyway or offers/promotes incentives to look forward to participate/compete or follow during the next 2+ months and that'll also hurt the established PoE streamers.

Example, over 99% here don't know or care that the "best" players during the Settlers league based on its official ladder that they intend to reset are currently Sigmar in HC SSF and TooLegitToQuit in HC SSF Ruthless when it comes to Delve.

At this point I'm not surprised or expecting GGG to be the exception, the company that will continue to separate from the rest and maintain dominance or relevance years from now, which is why I advise most to have similar expectations.

The November 7th event can and should be at least more appealing and rewarding like others have already expressed and then Johnathan would feel more sincere with his apology. A failure leads to success of others and based on what I've been reading from the most vocal minority or majority I do want and hope a bright future for GGG, but it will be earned based on performance and not fondness or sympathy.

It's a good theory, but Kopogero predates the popularity explosion of LLMs. It's funny, he clearly goes to the effort of reporting people who laugh at him, because random posts (eventually) disappear from his threads, but given the continued repetition of nonsense there is absolutely zero employment of introspection whatsoever. I'm not sure the capacity for it exists in the individual.
hype for poe2 is so high right now.

GGG doesnt need to care about twitch views

to be very honest i think gauging a games popularity via twitch views in itself is in a way weird.

heck if a titty streamer was streaming POE it doesnt necessarily mean people who watch are interested in poe.
