I'm really desperate and feeling depressed.

I have scheduled all my annual leave from November 15th to 22rd and it cannot be changed.

So, can I play 3.26 on November 15th?

You can imagine how frustrated I am:

1 day: Take the train home and take my parents to a fancy restaurant for dinner, and buy them some gifts.

2~5 day: Nothing to do, I don’t have any friends or pets to accompany me for 5 days in mid-November, they all have work to do.

Three weeks later: Busy with work and most likely only have one day on the weekend to play POE2.

Please let me enjoy 5 days of POE new content, whether it is 1 or 2!

maybe we get some events...but thats a big maybe.

Just play something else? That's how it goes in the industry, it's not GGG exclusive. Things rarely go as planned. That's why you don't schedule PTO around game releases. You'll be fine.

Always a risk OP and its hardly unusual for GGG to slip and slide the dates a bit, you'll find pretty much everyone on here whose used time off for a league start has had it bite them one league or the other.

Cut GGG some slack and find something new to play for a bit it'll work out - I'm gonna finally go through Cyberpunk as its had enough time in the oven by now

Just changed my vacation today, it was a 10 minute discussion but worked out... thankfully.


Odds for 3.26 this year are very low tho, don't get your hopes up for it

Put a bag of refried beans and steak sauce in your pants and sit on it at the start of your next meeting. Throw a little 10 day old boild egg in the bag for realism and 1 Fettuccine noodle.. you can level to 90 before you would be back at work ...

Play SSF and stay off da intarnets, and it won't matter...

My friend, that's why I always insist: Do not EVER EVER, EVER change course of your real life because of a video game scheduled release. Especially in 2024, and even if it is GGG, who is one of the best and most competent developers there is.

I hope you shrug it off in no time and enjoy your life, other games and activities. No video game should be responsible for leaving you depressed. If that's the case, one more reason to cut it off it's roots at once.
