Fog of war bug

How many more weeks are they going to let this persist?

More than likely just a scoping issue with whatever data structure holds the uncovered map data. Should not take a month to fix.
Please, fix soon. Please. Please. Pretty please. It seriously sucks.

Another week of no support for us lowly console players. Maybe next week they will act like we exist.

It's really quite a terrible bug. Makes me lose the willingness to even play, personally. It's not as bad on linear maps but as someone who likes to full clear, having to guess where I already were is annoying as hell. It's nice that they've acknowledged it in their list of known bugs but come on, why not fix it quick or if that's not an option, at least give us an update here and there so that we know that this is being looked at?

Honestly another reason to highlight the absolutely terrible decision to not make this game cross-progression, since apparently it's a PS-exclusive issue, but I can't just go play it on my xbox either now can I, unless I wanna start over...

I think they are done on console for the league tbh. Game is in the worst state it's been for some years. No wonder the game feels dead. If i was just starting out on poe i would uninstall after about 30mins and never come back. And i can't take much more of these loading times myself. Even the lads over at bethesda would be embarrassed with these load times and they have less loading screens on their games too!

Came back with an update for the original post! Yes, opening and play another game for a few minutes solves the fog problem( not all the games works, for me is Ancestors, the humankind Odyssey) but also found another way of fixing: while you are in the game and notice the problem, restart(switch on/off your Internet router, wait until your Internet is back(takes 2-5 min), exit game and enter again, problem should be solved, at least works for me! If any GGG members read this, the problem is related to loot filters, I guess, coz I noticed i get the bug, I fix it and when I go back in the game my loot filter is messed up(I keep my loot filter on very strict/Uber strict, but when I enter the game after fixing the bug, even if the filter still on strict I still see all the items like i have no filters, have to switch to default and back to strict and all back to normal) plus one player said he never used a loot filter and never got the fog bug

Its not fixed and loot filters not working unless you reinstall the game is about to make me finish my league earlier than I wanted.

Edit: loading the PS4 client fixed both problems on PS5 - fog of war and loot filters now loading.

Yep, "works" different for everyone! But they fu#ked up the console players from the first second they've launched this league, so no big expectations especially for end of the league! Moving to PC version is the best and only option, plus you won't deal whit PS sh#t market
