Make T17's Difficult Again

Nah these maps are still overtuned, a chore to run and roll with chaos and need major nerfs and re-balancing. That's a fact.

This is why GGG just needs to disable carry services, "area can only have one person" modifier on all end game, and pinnacle content. Players like the one above have this distorted view on content they should beable to run.

I'm usually against restrictions like these ones for sake of playing with actual friends opposed to carries and party memes but maybe this would stop the rather extreme threads we had this league, including the ones calling scarabs in T16s unprofitable and other questionable statements.

I mean if they really did limit that content to one player they might have to balance it so that most skills can do it without too much rigamarole. In my opinion, the big reason we have a lot of extreme threads about pinnacle/uber/t17s is that they aren't fulfilling the design purpose GGG setout for them to do.

t17s are not a bridge to uber bosses
Uber bosses did not turn out to be optional opt in difficulty boss fights, they became the normal for farming bosses.

I could go on, but GGG offered us a explanation of their design process. maybe if T17s were a bridge to uber content, and uber content was largely optional, well it is optional, but the good drops (which builds want to use) really only come from ubers.

I can think of maybe 5 or 6 items that the pinnacle bosses have that players use.

^
Yep, these are exactly the problems I have with t17s and uber bosses in general.
They should just add t18 maps which can only be farmed in t17 current ubers.
t18 maps drop new boss fragments which let you enter uber uber fights which are similar to the ubers in the gauntlet.

This content would drop all the neat nice to have but not must have uber exclusive items as account bound only drops and the fights would only have 1 portal just to encourage the instant gratification corpse runner glass cannon playerbase to get good. :)
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.
I don't know how many times I have to say this, but the problems with T17s aren't "git gud" or "skill issue". The problems are the maps themselves lol

Also every player can choose to play whatever type of build they want, some people just really have a lot of fun when playing glass cannons in games because being OP is fun.
This discussion is leading nowhere, you are always going to insist that your specific build should be able to do all content and if it can‘t the content needs to be changed. You are going to call this an objective fact based on the fact that …. Your build can‘t do this content and your build should be able to do the content. I guess we should be happy that you decided to cap ele res in that build, otherwise we would be heading towards the nerfing of T6 maps next.

Sure everyone can play what they want. But it's nothing new to know that a glass cannon requires more skill in many scenarios so that you don't get one shot slapped by the most obvious indicated hits.
Having a proper character does allow space for errors and since nobody is perfect good players tend to build both good damage and proper survivability to allow space for mistakes.

So in the end there are only two possible outcomes, you either play flawless while sitting on a glass cannon or you learn to improve your character to maintain sick damage and also allow space for a durable defense.

In either ways just a case of get good, really.
Cause a player playing bad and making bad choices doesn't make content design bad right away. Game devs should also never cater to the stubborn players that refuse to just get better at the game and expect to have everything as watered down and piss easy as possible.

Luckily GGG is known to do their own thing since years, so props on the Dev team for maintaining a decent game that doesn't end up full of instant gratification all over the place like some other games on the market. (D4, Lost ark, you name them)

Best to hope that they also bring over some of the nice and "harsh" PoE2 features to PoE1 as some of the design choices would fit well into the game without doubts.

I think it would be better if they made t17s a bit easier but they all had the voided mod so glass cannon builds couldn't get rich farming them.

They literally wouldn't fit, that's the point. That's why poe 2 was made into a seperate game. So that the devs can do whatever they want with that game without having to change this one and making a large group of players mad.
