devs are 100% more active on discord

which isnt even moderated by ggg...
why is that? whats wrong with the forum here? why is it more likely for our feedback to be seen and even commented on reddit or discord but not on this official forum?

everyone who got banned from this discord because moderators are like the ones from tft, on a power trip, cant have the luxury of having their opinion be seen.

im not even gonna make a second discord or reddit account thats not my problem
my problem is why havent we seen any presence since forever from the devs on this forum? where in my opinion its well moderated

This is simply not true. There are no devs that participate in the tft discord. And if you are talking about some PoE discord, there are no tft moderators on there. Nor are there likely PoE devs there either lol.

i only meant that the mods on the poe discord are on a powertrip just as the ones on tft

but yeah im sure that everyone who uses the forum actively has noticed there is no developer presence here besides the moderators

This is just straight up not true. They aren't on discord at all. In any "PoE" group. Because there is no official PoE discord. Or at least they interact VERY minimally.

Straight at the top of the "Path of Exile discord"...it says it is "run by volunteer moderators, not GGG".

And they basically never comment there. They are far more active HERE and reddit over that discord. They simply comment on forum threads and the home page, where they don't have to wade into useless nonsense.

Like I mentioned, they might still be a bit more involved on reddit (although I doubt it), but they are 100% not more involved on discord.

And if you were banned from the Path of Exile discord....you must have been saying some really really bad things. Because they are far more respectable than TFT. I would much sooner believe, without evidence, that you earned that ban over them being on a power trip. TFT, I would believe otherwise.


Sorry but, if your title and your first post are how you typically address issues then I can see it causing problems for you from others. I don't mean to come down so hard, but I know that discord. I know tft (and hate it). I know the reddit. And I know these forums. I don't know you except through what you wrote here. And what you wrote here is just....plain not true. Which is a problem.

i mean you're free to believe whatever you want, my entire reputation was destroyed by some random guys that were both on tft and the poe discord
i even prodived the poe discord mods screenshots where i literally get insulted and they didnt do anything about it. instead they told me im doing victim blaming. i cant provide any screenshots (im sure youre smart and know that i cant screenshot stuff i have no access to :) ) since im banned there.
what would your take be if you simply criticize something (which is not against their guidelines there) and you get insulted by at least 4 people who do the same on multiple discord servers and get away with it and in return you dont get help by the moderators even if you provide them evidence they just mute you and if you keep asking why they telling you that they're not buying the "victim blaming"

so next time someone's gonna get attacked openly on the streets by someone ill join and tell the victim to shut up because he is suppose to be beaten up (what?!)

back to topic. like you a free to believe what you want, same goes for me
talkative tri has shown screenshots of interactions with viperesque which is on that discord. i never seen any of the devs interact with someone like that in the forum. so from my point of view it is true.

a little explaination on why i name my titles like that, because im also a supporter of this game and it sickens me to see how devs just simply dont care because well... i didnt spend thousands yet probably. it seems to me like we dont deserve to be heard or interacted with

Unpaid moderators on any site have very sad lives and need some bones thrown to them from time to time. Let them have their one tether to this earth.

My guess as to GGG's higher activity on every other site but their own? Ease of use? I dunno. PoE's website is a nightmare to navigate on mobile devices. PoE 2's site looks more modern so maybe it'll be better for that...? Any GGG post on the forums is just some variation of "behave, children" so I'm not sure why they even post at all here. It's annoying because these forums are free of power tripping mods but vacant of GGG - ah well it's been that way since 2012 so what can you do

if i have a sad live im not going to compensate it online but rather go out and talk to friends
but its just so hypocrite to hide on a discord where people can willingly get banned for just small things and get excluded from talking to devs...

Some video games don't even have a forum or just decided to shut it down. The developers figured they don't need to read all the complaints and arguments. There isn't any significant socialization. It is basically we don't talk to each other anymore kind of thing.

Reddit is manage by a third party. On reddit, they need to do more damage control since they can't close and delete the complaints and arguments there at their whim. There is more talking when you can't shut people up.

isnt that a reason they should take more care of their forum?
why not close it then and post everything on the steam forum, reddit and discord?

if people here on the forum are so bad why are they keeping this thing alive even?

This is giving me flashbacks to pre-3.15 when people complained they were more active on Reddit.
