Mtx in poe2 that players didn't pay for
I don't really get the argument. PoE2 is a completely different and separated game NOW.
No reason any MTX should carry over.
"This is the correct answer to that topic. Breaking promise and separating the games is one thing, no one cares. The moment MTX (financials) enter the picture? Completely different story. Consumer laws aside (EU in particular is really good on that front) the backlash would be insane. I trust GGG is smarter than that.
" No reason whatsoever, except the fact that together with the announcement of the split, GGG confirmed again that MTX carry over to 2. So yeah thankfully they get it, and maybe this is why it's them building a sequel to the best arpg. One reason of many right there, GGG being good and reasonable fellows, recognising and giving sth back to people who helped fund the game. BTW I used to troll like that, but then I had my ACL torn heh. Last edited by Rabarbar_Lichy on Sep 29, 2024, 9:23:16 AM

Still no word on console and PC purchases being merged? If they plan to merge accounts for both games to provide access for all possible mtx in either games, that'd mean a PoE 2 console player would have access to their PoE PC purchases, but then they'd need to add PoE console accounts to that equation too. Can they merge PoE PC and console purchases in the first place? We need that clarified as soon as possible.
