PoE 2 Early access confirmation (how to get it?)confusion

from what i heard from few friends beta will be 6months and will cost $30 , unless u've spend atleast $500 in the current version combined from packs/buying points etc , then u will have access without paying $30
Hardcore was great for the first 8 seconds or so. I think I made it through about 4 whole zombies!
Me wants it now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Charge me 100 or 200..... Gimmee gimmee.
It's free on release date. For all of you qq in about paying, the game is not available to play yet. Those who wish to volunteer to be unpaid play testers are just that, volunteers. Get over yourself. The fact they put out a free game in the first place is ridiculous. [Removed By Support]

This has been discussed to death. They officially have said there will be keys available to buy and there will be a certain threshold of total $$$ spent on an account that will also guarantee access. That threshold before has been $500USD, and I don't see why they would change that.

There is no uncertainty or speculation here, it has already been officially answered umpteenth amounts of times.
Supporting GGG feels fair for all the hard work they do.

Open Beta = everyone has free access to it. Progression gets wiped before release.
Closed Beta = only a few ppl has access to it. Progression gets wiped before release.

Early Access = only ppl who pay for it (via direct payment, or pre-reserve, or founders packs) have access to it. Progression gets saved so ppl get attracted to pay for it.

If everyone could join the early access for free, they would have just called it "full release".

You're welcome.

Yes, yes. The full release of 3 acts and no end game.

Interesting.

In the livestream you will learn everything you need to know about Path of Exile 2, the content you’ll be able to play on December 6th, including endgame and ways to join Early Access. After the livestream, Jonathan and Mark will answer your questions in a Q&A session with ZiggyD.

Pretty straight forward.
