I love this league so much. The idea of having something to upgrade and use that you really just do content and wait on to interact with is great. I love the more direct trading. But I do have one single problem with it. It's just too expensive in terms of gold. I have found myself stopping what I am doing for days at a time to just farm out the gold needed to keep the place going. Maybe a way for Kingsmarch to self-sustain would have been a good idea. Save your gold for the upgrades, which are still often very much too expensive. I hope this one makes it into standard and they solve the gold issue.

I don't get this focus on "gold farm". Sure, I guess you have to think about gold if you're recombinating like crazy, have 18 runners constantly running maps and 3 ships constantly sailing. But I get more than enough gold just by running maps. Sometimes I have to ask myself "what are people doing"...
The same with the AH... One map worth of gold is enough to do several high value trades. Sure, if you're buying a lot of chaos it can be a little bit expensive, but... Just play the game and you'll get it.... The league is fine. The league is good. Just don't feel pressured to do everything all the time. No one is forcing you. You really only need to keep your farmers running to build up to the 50 million mega jackpot. Everything else is extra.
If you're a more casual player you should do one of the gold farming strategies to build up a reserve, probably torment x2, elder, titanic, titanic of legend scarabs. Gigantic rogue exile farming drops a ton of loot in addition to gold but they slap hard. |

I honestly agree with the op. Kinda why I stopped this league. Just didnt have the time unfortunately as i get older to power game and keep the town running optimally. Fun idea from GGG though.

" Its crazy to find someone reasonable in this forum. Of course you wont feel good about a town that isnt running 24/7. That is a break in expectation and people usually dont like that. Even if the optimal way to play kingsmarch is to leave the town idle for a couple hours, it would feel wrong. I understand the OP and his criticism is valid. |
