GGG tell me PoE2 will be another, no life players only?

Just wondering if PoE2 will be another game where you cant play if you do not play it as a 8 hour work or partial work every day.
You know I am normal guy with a job and a life, I can in the best case put 6-4 hours a week in a game, everyone here could tell me what you can achieve with that time: Nothing and if you play in cosole is way way worse as the market is BS (and you dont care) I would tell you that devs from Diablo 4 and Last Epoch are better than you, because they create games were all people can play it, not only a niche of no life guys. When I play diablo 4 I level up super fast reach level 100 and now is just matter of having fun trying to farm those items that my build need, maybe I cant but still killing monster is fun, same for last epoch where I can actually create my own builds and they actually work =D While playing your game is a torment, dying constantly without knowing what just happened (one shot kills every map), trying to farm currency to see if you can afford a better gear, to get 1c every 10 maps which take you like 2 hours because you are not a pro and your build is shit because shitty drops. Just GGG let me know if that is what are you going to do and before hand discard PoE2, keep your niche of players (I am not sure if they grow), and yes you failed making a game that is good for everyone. I promise you from what I played it will be for them.
They don't forget there audience. They don't change there audience. They make the game HOW THEY want to make it. They want the game HOW THEY WISH to make it. Unlike Diablo which is a pile of doo doo cause LETS TRY TO CATTER TO EVERYONE. I promise you this you will die a lot in that game and you're probably going to write a giant reddit post going the game is too hard going I HAVE A JOB and 10 kids WITH 3 WIVES. GGG can do whatever they like, they can keep its tiny niche of no life players as they are doing now. its way too early for us to speculate too much.
from what i believe. POE2 is where GGG takes everything they learned from POE1 and make a the true "diablo 2 sequel that everyone asked for". POE1 was meant to be the game they wanted to make. but they had to evolve it along with the player base. i would argue POE1 is not the game GGG wanted to make. as for POE2, despite on surface it looks like we're gonna die a lot more, and how the crafting system can appear VERY STINGY, i believe the game would be more "newbie/casual friendly". having an item with 1-2 good mods is not enough in poe1 as is. but if GGG is basing d2 as their inspiration, even a good magic item with one decent mod can be enough as long as the devs build their game with that in mind. It's totally OK that some games target a casual audience while other games target a more dedicated audience. Variance in the market is a good thing.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

" This game was conceived with the advanced gamer in mind. It has always been that way. I am not that gamer but enjoy it anyway and appreciate it's existence. PoE1 is not for everyone and that's clearly hard for you to accept. I have a feeling PoE2 is going to be more of the same, maybe not, but maybe D4 is your game. |
