[3.25] Chaos Zoomancer & Minion Army Necromancer League Starter (All content - Ubers, T17, Simu)

Map mods can make a map a lot more difficult true, but killing enemies fast also makes things a lot easier.
Get the early 4-medium and the small 2-cluster and then respec.
Make sure you have the correct gem setup as well.
I would also recommend to buy a unset with +2 sockets and a AG gem that is level 19-21 and then buy the early AG items.
Most of those items are very cheap and the AG will massively increase damage and clear speed if you get asenath gloves.

About those cluster jewels. Do I need to find the same one with minion life/lightning res? No one is selling the minion life jewel in Necro Settlers. Haven't checked for the small one yet.

Edit: Btw, just the Animated Guardian provides a nice DPS boost. Thanks for recommending that I do that first.

You dont need it to have specifically lightning res, you can get that resistance from another item or you can use the harvest bench to transform one elemental res to another.
Never fixate on having the exact same rolls on resistances on items, you can simply get x, y, z resistance on another item instead.

Hey Hoffen, I have wuestion as I slowly accumalatr items for beyond setup - are there any recommended steps what to change when?

From just pob I understand that with MB and flask change, voices should be changed as well with 15% poison jewels as we need more of them to compensate lack of stygian belt doubled poison chance, do you have maybe some kind of list in which groups items needs to be updated?

I am trying to find elegant hubris with at least 2 minion dmg nodes as it seems pointless to do it with less… but PS market is terrible as there are none.

Would appreciate the tips!

Hello Hoffen,

I put a unique flask (forbitten taste) which will give me 99% life instant back + 10% spell suppression. It is always activitated as soon as I block. With Svallin and immortal call socketed I feel like Im immortal. What do you think about it? Maybe Im not thinking about other better options or it has its own disadvantage

And I have another question regarding T17 maps. I tried it once (before I had Svallin) and It was a horrible experience. But Im not sure if I nit choosed the wrong mods.

I know you already wrote the regex which filters the maps, but on console it is exhausting to always write those regex. Could you tell please which specific mods should be prevented?

Okay that's good. But what about the minion life one? Does it specifically have to be minion life to be able to roll the mod we want on the jewel? Can it be 5 sockets instead of 4 if it has to be?

Edit: Nvm. I just got the jewels needed. Phew.

Edit2: Wow, just switched over and did a couple maps. The damage output is like night and day. I'm assuming me getting oneshot in t16 maps is due to my low spell block chance. I've got almost 5k life, and my regen is crazy fast too.

Edit:3 Man.. I love this build. I just got my turtle and my own personal WW Barb. It feels more like the true Fishymancer than the stress free build. Granted that build was great too, got me all the way through the atlas with ease and thankfully they're both very similar skill point-wise. Thank you for making this wonderful guide and providing additional help to those of us who need clarification

Some stuff you can change one at a time like progenesis, awakened multi etc...

But mageblood, voices, impossible escape and the hubris jewel do need to be changed around the same time to make it work.

The problem with using that unique flask is you loose a suffix modifier that could have helped. It is not a bad idea but a good life flask with corrupted blood & bleed immunity is just as good.

This is a list of T17 mods that are quite dangerous.
Can maps still be done with for example 15% pen? yes, but you do take more damage.

Monsters gain (80-100)% of their Physical Damage as Extra Chaos Damage
Players have -20% to all maximum Resistances
Monster Damage Penetrates 15% Elemental Resistances
Monsters have 100% increased Area of Effect · Monsters fire 2 additional Projectiles
Monsters Poison on Hit · All Damage from Monsters' Hits can Poison · Monsters have 100% increased Poison Duration
Rare and Unique Monsters remove 5% of Life, Mana and Energy Shield from Players or their Minions on Hit
Players are Marked for Death for 10 seconds · after killing a Rare or Unique monster
Rare Monsters have Volatile Cores
Monsters have (650-700)% increased Critical Strike Chance · +(70-75)% to Monster Critical Strike Multiplier

You should not get oneshot in T16 unless you have taken a eldritch altar that lowers your resistances or removes your physical damage reduction.
Make sure you have life on most of your items and you really need to fix your flasks.
Having the correct flask setup improves survivability a lot, avoid having 3 life flasks.
Try to over cap your resistances with at least 15% because some enemies lower your resistances with elemental exposure for -15.

Bench craft life on your shield.
The corruption on your boots does nothing at all btw.

Lmao. I know it doesn't do anything. I'm just poor atm. Those were the only pair of boots on hand I had at the time. I don't think it was a direct one shot per se, but it was definitely an insanely fast one two combo of a couple projectiles from a Gemling dude. Fire damage of all things, which I had a lot of before I switched my gear around. I was near a ritual alter though, so that may have been the cause? It was jarring and hasn't happened since.

Ohhhh, Eldritch alter. Those little 2 choice thingies? That may have been the cause. I'm not entirely positive if I took one or not.
