D4 bad hohoho

Biggest surprise for me was that D4 story was even worse than what Starfield had. My friend called it “Marvel writing - not making any sense, shallow characters, but covered in action - as long as people don’t think and skip it, they won’t notice”.

I still love POE, having a blast playing D4S4. I find it more elegant than POE, & it feels great to play a real ARPG again (I say that because Path of Exile is more about trading than anything else).

Yeah and you should be better than lying to make a point but here we are.

Just to put a bow on this, I wasn't, and am not, lying. As Mr Chan said, at best we have different versions of viability here.

So yeah you can go down to the river and wash your clothes by hand, but most people just use a washing machine. Is it possible to do so? Sure. Is it even remotely realistic? Not a chance.

And as far as the other posts go, a simple summary is that for the most part PoE is miserable now for the average player. Whether it's 8 hours entry campaign fee, to league starter build before you can actually play what you want, to the exhausting grind of praying to rng God's in every aspect of the game.

It's pushed so far to the extreme elite, that playing simply isn't worth it anymore for many people, including me.

D4 is fantastic for what it offers, the bar to entry, and the basic fun of just playing and slaying.

Can't buy what isn't for sale. It takes two. Can't be half pregnant.

Edit: I can't tell you how much the loot in an arpg is better when it isn't balanced on trade and the theory that it's better to pay someone else for loot instead of finding it on your own.

Sure that's personal preference. But I'm glad D4 isnt that way.
