They surely went with a normal league again rather than a over juiced loot league so they can introduce a paid gacha currency box, and a paid spinning wheel with unique items next league. Surely part of the evil hidden plan!
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

what do you mean Chris sold its shares ? like he is no longer 1 of the owners???
Tencent owns 100% of GGG now. ALL of the shares that the company has are owned by Tencent.
Google New Zealand Company Holdings Lookup
Should be one of the first links
Search Grinding Gear Games
Click shareholders
100% owned by Tencent
Chris Wilson doesn't own any GGG shares.

Some people need an actual cause for a league being bad, sometimes they plain and simple make something total garbage, and that has nothing to to with Tencent. More probably it has to do with the fact that they don't play their own game and depend on a few alpha testers. Seems like it's time for a new alpha tester team, heck if anything I think some random Chinese gamer feedback would actually help them at this point!

No it's not China bad.
When the company was bought out the fire in GGG was gone. They're made guys now. All of this stuff is irrelevant and look at how the product has gone downhill since. Not a coincidence. PoE hasn't been the same game since about 3.14. That's the truth.

I hope you are aware the acquisition took place in early 2018. That's Bestiary / Incursion (3.2.0 / 3.3.0) era. The game has only gotten better since but hey, I get what you mean. It doesn't fit the narrative so we're leaving these details out.

I mean I resent the implication that GGG can't make a complete dud of a league all by themselves.
Stupid correlations are stupid.

Nuanced and based take.

You're missing the part where the founding members of the team sold their shares which occurred over the last six years since 2018. Which means 2024 was the full acquisition.
You can say it was all peaches and cream (even this league) but I doubt many will agree with you.

So you are aware of games that have benefited from Tencent's stewardship?
And the one who suggested that the generalization, "China bad," as a right wing bias needs to read more deeply. I suggest you look for the President's addresses to The Party to get an idea of what the world has to look forward to.
tencent had absolutely 0 influence/say in anything to do with this current leagues design. do you think representatives from tencent are running around gggs design studio telling them to make the crafting menu less user friendly and to lower the drop rates on the league monsters because they have some evil master plan that its gonna make them more profits?
what are you even talking about?
so absurd.
You dodged the question absurdly.
I never said Tencent has anything to do with this league or any input into PoE.
You could reread my statement but after your reply perhaps you shouldn't as I don't expect any substance.
