Worst league in a good long while... (makes sense with Tencent owning 100% of GGG now)
3000+ hours... I lost interest by tier 8 maps. It's a forced wildwood with the option to pick which mobs get the mods, and 2 more types of things to loot. NONE of this is what anyone wanted. NONE of this....
But it makes sense with GGG selling ALL 3,333,333 shares(Chris sold his off) to Tencent. Now that they own the entire game, it starts to head to the trash can. Sucks... seems even GGG sells out to greed over quality. An extra MONTH and this is what we get. I guess I expect too much from GGG these days. They ARE owned entirely by Tencent now, who only cares about profit not products. I can safely say PoE/PoE2 will never get another cent from me. PoE Enjoyer for over a decade, and counting... "Ah, yes. You were fine buying one of the more expensive core packs when Tencent owned 97% or so but now that it's 100% suddenly it is all downhill from here. You heard it here first, folks.
" "They won't get another cent from me" I guess reading truly is a lost art in 2024. Unless your entire intent with the post was to literally repeat what I said just to add something to make yourself feel validated? Narcissism or young... hmmmmmmmmmm *flips coin* PoE Enjoyer for over a decade, and counting... Last edited by Xalg on Apr 1, 2024, 11:03:35 AM

"Each to their own but I highly believe these forums can without that kind of hyperbole. Tencent owning the company fully now has nothing to do with how Necropolis turned out and realistically doesn't matter for future leagues. Much less so for PoE 2. But hey, I get it - China bad, upvote to the right. Cheers.
In most cases, yes, holding 100% of a company's shares means having complete control over that company. Share ownership typically equates to voting rights in corporate decision-making processes, such as electing the board of directors and approving major business decisions. Therefore, if one entity holds all the shares of a company, they have the power to make decisions without needing approval from any other shareholders.
However, it's essential to consider any legal or regulatory frameworks that might apply. In some jurisdictions, there may be certain restrictions or requirements related to corporate governance, even if one entity holds all the shares. Additionally, there may be contractual agreements or arrangements in place that influence how decision-making authority is exercised within the company, regardless of share ownership. Overall, while owning 100% of a company's shares typically confers control, the specifics may vary depending on the context and relevant legal considerations. 🔷🔶🔰🌀✨Standard>Leagues✨🌀🔰🔶🔷

" hehe, yeah. i love how mkaing the game worse and having worse player retention is also somehow being tied to the idea that they are making more money for the shareholders? news flash, if everyone loves the game more then they make more money and the tencent makes more profit. i feel like as soon as the name tencent gets invoked in a criticism of the game you can essentially just write off the entire post as nonsense. |
