Nothing like diminishing people's personal achievements in a video game
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
that is an insane take, there would be way more trade bots if there was an auction house

there should be an auction house, but ONLY for magic, rare and unique items

nah game should be fully ssf balanced without any trading at all. At the very least short allocation trading in party the same way d3 did it. Be funny to see how half of the player base starts to crumble once they have to craft/obtain items on their own instead of playing the market with our without a bot in order to get all the fancy dancy gear
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

They would lose way too many players and GGG doesn't want that.
More players = fatter wallet.
What they need to do is make it easier to trade.
Their stupid take on trading is that they think it's already too easy to trade, that's possibly the dumbest thing I've ever heard them say.
I don't want an auction house where you bid on items.
Give us a trading post where the prices are static (they are what the seller listed them for). If we want to buy an item, we buy it, then go to their hideout to pick it up at the seller's trading post.
If you're selling something and someone wants to buy it, there shouldn't need to be ANY interaction from the seller, they can keep on mapping while the transaction is taking place.
This would eliminate people price fixing on the low end, meaning putting up dozens of level 4 empowers up for 10c trying to influence the price of items and going AFK with the intention of never selling at that price.
If you put an item up for sale, you have 1 minute until it goes live to make sure it's the price you want to sell it at, and then it's up for grabs.
Enough of the AFK selling bullshit and having to spam 40 people to get an item you want.

ah yeah loot, that was never discussed here, so fresh, so new. groundbreaking even. and calling people dumb because you don't support their viewpoint, very classic argument. Almost as good as pashid, peas in a pot and all that.
so far we got RMT accusations against supporters, RMT accusations against challenge completionists, RMT(bot) accusations against people who trade. accusations against the trade system itself. This is THE one thread.

The ridiculous number of websites selling PoE currency are kind of proof of this.

That being said the target audience is unfortunately RWT players.

This is just one of the issues with this game.. the fact that its riddled with currency exchange bots due to the absolute lack of an auction house is just another thing.

is this one of those threads "Im jelous others can pay for cool skins, I bet they also RMT!"
