What happened to no nerfs mid league?

Its pretty poor if they remove the corpse scaling from our version as it just becomes a setup skill without much interest in that setup, really it'd be good if they could tweak the mechanics for desecrate so it doesn't take high hp corpses with you but that's part of the fun of the build tbh removing it adds nothing to the game.
Corpse scaling should absolutely go as a % from when enemies use it, something like a more multiplier for the class of enemy corpse should replace it instead so a white exploding a unique might do double damage, but not 2million fire. Trans Pbrand gonna get absolutely destroyed next league though :p glad they fixed the bug on the regular one though as that might end up safe. |

No. Every time DD was OP it was because we got some new enemy i the game that has 10 times more HP and suddenly DD has 10 more DPS. Its flawed mechanic, you should never get extra DMG with no investment.
DD should scale same as Spectres. | |

But I agree that they're doing some (weakening) adjustments every so often. Almost every league there's a very strong mechanic/interaction that remains untouched during the league, even if it's bugged. E.g. in the current expansion split beams from Arc of Surging can all hit the same enemy. In Crucible, exploding totems dealt enormous amount of damage (but not due to a bug IIRC). Next league it was nerfed by 20 times. And very similar case with corpse life happened in 3.17, where two gold statues had like 570% of life instead of intended 360% and this also wasn't fixed during that and even next league, since 3.18 didn't include character balance changes. As for relatively recent nerfing bugfixes I remember only few: when traps/etc didn't respect attached brands limit, and when Wicked Ward ES recharge penalty didn't apply to life recharge (with Eternal Youth). So generally something unpopular can potentially be fixed mid-league, and I suspect not so many people used Nameless Beasts for DD. | |
" I'm gonna sound like i'm splitting hairs here but no, everytime DD was OP it was because they forgot that corpse scaling is a thing and gave it a stupid value instead of a within range like everything else. You get massive free damage for fuck all investment on almost any popular build its why they are popular, corpse life is the extra proj of DD is all just an extra scaler that can be fun to occasionally play with but is intended to have limits. |

" What maks you think that corpse HP and enemy HP are separate thing? If enemy is tanky af due to a lot of HP, its corspe will be the same. Everyone is fine with mid league nerfs as long as it doesn't hurt them imo.
I'm torn on if the game needs more nerfs or buffs right now but seeing people do voided giga maps without even a chance of dien makes me think nerfs can't be that bad for the game. This league however had tons of broken stuff that probably wont even go core so balancing around it might be a mistake. |
