Gem related currency orbs transfering from poe to poe2

WE keep our stuff in poe for poe2 which is great and absolutely perfect move by ggg.
The question is what happens with fusing, gcp, jeweler orbs and all other related orbs that are not working with the gem system in poe2. This is probably already asked but i cant find much info about it. I read about fusings will become jewelers orbs that is used to six link the gem itself instead of the gear. What about gcp, what is the plan with this and chromatic orbs. In general i would like to know as much as possible about all of this and i am sure i am not the only one. This is kinda important because poe2 looks way better than poe. Please ggg no more chaos on the screen in poe2 and have the monsters more dangerous as alive rather than dead ( looking at on death effects anti melee monster effects that should be removed asap in this chaotic game where it is very hard to see stuff specially when its stressful ) Maybe something like a npc vendor in poe 2 buys the old orbs from poe1, that way we can still keep the old currency for poe1 and have whatever we also need for poe2 when we need it, probably good so poe1 fans still can have their orbs. Perhaps you are planning on having no sockets on items in poe1 too later to match poe2 better. ( i am sure you ggg find a good way about all of this ) Last bumped on Jan 12, 2024, 4:33:43 PM

What makes you think they will move your ITEMS from PoE to PoE 2?

The only things you will keep, are MTXes.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

POE 2 is no longer an expansion of POE 1 so no items will transfer over, only purchases so long as they can be used

There is nothing to see here. They already said PoE and PoE 2 are separate games. They are only moving MTXes to PoE 2 because if they didnt, it would cause shitstorm of epic scale.

" Looks like your info is outdated. Originally PoE and PoE 2 were going to be running on the same client and servers BUT that changed, PoE2 is now a separate game with separate servers, the only thing that will carry over are MTX assuming they can be used in PoE2. FYI this was announced at the last exilecon and has been about as public as it can be. Ancestral Bond.
