what can a newbie do to start this league?

I am late for this league but wanna try PoE again because I heard many said a few skills are quite busted, I just wanna try to kill couple end game boss if possible this league.
OK, I made a new toon, searched a bit to find out penacle brand is good. put that in trade search box and level 1 skill gem cost 3 divine... Alt+F4. even tho Diablo 4 sux but I have to say PoE has many flaws beyond redemption. Last bumped on Jan 9, 2024, 12:44:45 PM

Start with a decent league starter and farm up some currency and change your build into the desired build of your choice. And before you ask about a league starter, just use Google cause the web is full of guides and builds all over the place to educate yourself with.
But even that "late" into the league it's not that hard to fresh start especially with a juicy league like this and divine drops all over the place Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun. Last edited by Pashid on Jan 6, 2024, 11:09:27 PM

So what? Some of the alternate quality gems where just as valuable. Did you complain that you can't outright start with them?

You clearly are not the kind of person this game speaks to. No reason to call it a flaw - u could simply acknowledge that u need an easy af game to compress and that poe is not that instead of bashing it for no reason. | |

Just an example of how opaque this game is to new players who haven't invested any time learning about it prior to starting. A fair amount of time at that.

Yeah there definitely is a lot to learn, I played in beta and just recently started again 4 days ago and I'm only level 37 or so, because I spend almost more time learning and reading than I do trying to just go through the game fast. Also the lore is amazing so I read everything :D

Imagine if everyone wanted to start with specific things.
and talk down the game you haven't even started is ridiculous. There are no toons in this game btw, they are called characters or builds. | |

Since it cost 710 divine orbs, I alt+f4 and quit. |
