Did they just say POE 2 Trading is going to be worse than POE 1?
Its my impression about it.
It also made me even less hyped about POE 2. At some point I created a character in Ruthless and quite liked my experience. But bossing has to be one of the thing I hate the most in poe. If its going to be like in Ruthless where you can out dps any problem and focused on the boss its sure isn't for alot of people I know. I guess they probably really are trying to get a new playerbase only time will tell if it work out. Why am I still here

I love PoE and it's probably in my top 5 games of all times. With that in mind, it feels VERY strange that I'm clearly not the target audience for PoE 2, because the more I read/watch about it, the clearer it becomes that this isn't a game for me. Which is fine, but strange...
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

and? anything in poe 2 is worse than its counterpart in poe 1
we're not the target audience for poe 2. this is why the games are separated

More people map than boss in poe1, unsure how bigger focus on bossing will be recieved. But will have to experience it ourselves before we can judge.
If bossing takes 1/3 of the time will it also need to give 1/3 of rewards or people will skip map bosses.
" If my build takes more than 10 seconds to kill a boss, I won't do the boss ever again, the only exceptions to the rule are having an altar of divines on boss kill, having several HH buffs or upgrading the build to a point that doesn't take more than 10 seconds to kill it. But it has never been the case if the boss is a fundamental part of the game (a Sekiro), in that case, I don't mind spending 30 minutes in the fight, and in that sense, if POE 2 is structured in such a way that, It's not a meme to fight map bosses (as currently is), and it's really just as fluid as making an entire map boss counted, maybe it's more interesting to make them, I just wouldn't like to make a fight against a boss that lasts +20 minutes between super elaborate and complex patterns worthy of a work of art (just as the devs want to make us feel) and not receiving anything. It's my only fear about POE 2, since they give so much media importance to the bosses, it better be really worth it. Venezuela es mi barrio, y odio mi barrio.

" Nah. Chris Wilson isn't directly involved in PoE Too. I see Jonathon Rogers' (Project Director) fingerprints all over it. The way he smirks through every interview, he's like a pig in slop. " No, it's not fine. PoE has banked on player loyalty for a decade. I'd have liked to have seen some loyalty returned, rather than learning the hard way that "Plans change." The game you and I love was robbed of some promised innovations to create this new game, and I will never forget it. =>[.]<= =^[.]^= basic (happy/amused) cheetahmoticon: Whiskers/eye/tear-streak/nose/tear-streak/eye/

There’s no point making a sequel if everything is the same. And as soon as you change some things, some people aren’t going to like those changes. That sucks a little for those particular people, but that’s life. You can’t expect artists to make art solely for you forever (unless you’ve got the millions upon millions of dollars to commission that I suppose).
"No it hasn’t. Loyalty doesn’t pay the bills. POE has banked on selling products. There is no loyalty to “return”; everyone already got what they paid for. Companies are not your friends. If you feel you are being “loyal”, you should immediately question what you are doing, because it isn’t real, you’re tricking yourself. |
