Buff melee

MS and Fissure count for me and MS is probably the closest thing to trans pbrand until they nerfed it back when it was like 900% effectiveness, people were pretty happy with it then too :p

Its a little ironic that it comes down to projectile abuse still though IMO we really love that extra scaler

VC was insane for the builds it worked on though but didn't you think that was a bit silly? I loved splitting steel being viable at last I made an absolute banger of a build with VC but it felt a little stale, return proj is an improvement but still a little stale it feels like a skills being propped up rather than just being numerically acceptable.

I still think this league is actually way better for melee than VC league, far more options just have to trade the giga dps. Honestly its a shame more players don't try stuff out themselves this is probably the best melee league since legion and if its that solid on HC its definitely gonna be solid on SC.

Yep easy acess to AoE charms (thanks to charges stacking) makes so much melee skills feel very good, thanks to screen wide AoE.
Melee isn't weak per say, but it is just annoying to play since you have to spec into huge amount of quality of life stuff to fix design issues.

1/ remove ancestral totems buff and add the power into base skill gems
2/ yet to see reason why melee should deal with accuracy and mana at the same time, so please remove all mana costs for those gems(maybe life cost?) or significantly reduce them. 6 linked ground slam at 27 mana/cast is just insanity. 19 BASE mana cost intimidating cry is also something else
3/ extend base duration of fortify(6s is just trash in bossing scenario - scaled to 10~s with fort duration wheel) - base could be 10, 12 or even more
4/ increase base warcry speed and condense the nodes in that area via removing the basically mandatory war cry speed nodes
5/ remove physical tag from nodes within the marauder area, since we have like half of the gems elemental based(even chieftain is supposed to be fire oriented) which do not work with them and confuse new players

Maybe we could start with these and see where we end up in like 2 leagues.
GGG remove ancestral totem buffs and buff base gems instead. It is annoying to have to press:

4 warcries, totem, berserk, banner, bloodrage, focus, curse to cast a slam

result: 1/5th of normal build damage and 1/4th of POB dps for slam build in real scenario.
