League is Boring / Unrewarding

Im going into the hole in t15-t16 im geting out with 1600-2000 wisps got 3k a couple of times. I cant target wisps becouse i cant see shit and wich wisps are where. I dont know wich way to go cuz and im runing into deadends.
Then i get out and i drop the usual couple of chaoses and thats it.
Im not geting divines. Im not geting shit. I cant buy stuff to upgrade my build.
I have a completely different experience with this thing.


There are other mechanics that are rewarding, you do not have to interact with this one if you don't like it.

The league lasts months. You don't play 8 hours a day every day, don't expect to upgrade like someone who does either.
If I was nodding any fkn harder my head would fall off! lol. couldn't have said it better myself!

Also, as a standalone concept it's just bad. You get 800 blue 678 yellow and no purp, you wasted all your time for nothing. However, if you find a zone where you get 3800 yellow, 2900 blue and 265 purp and now you have an actual league mechanic.

You look at Empy's group, way over 1,000 divines so far, waaaaaaay over.

Rando casual can't compete w that.

Cause the random casual doesn't really engage with heavily optimized part play or good juiced maps to begin with. But even the random casual could squeeze out decent solo play drops if they wanted to.

Random casual Joe doesn't have to compete with that, but better rng in for the first ~60% quant and rarity and diminishing returns for more would be a good design choice.

0 Divine drops btw for me and my atlas is cleared, including unique maps. Only missing one voidstone cause Uber Elder dude got the best of me this time for the first try.(performance was also kind of lackluster, thx GGG, mimimi)

Theres nothing to like in there. Black out ''map'' wich you are runing around in blindly in hopes u go in the direction u actually want to go. Collecting some dust garbage in hopes you are going to find a ''Master'' in hopes you are going to buy or get something from it that is actually useful. Its just meh, its actually making me sad that this is what i got for the next 3 months.

last league I did exactly one Ancestor to get it off of my quest thingy. And I have 10 years and 20,000+ hours in POE. So you know what I thought of the worst mechanic in POE history. Let this be a lesson that it is "different strokes for different folks" and this league is a million trillion times better. (except for the tattoos which were awesome).

It just feels like players are having wildly divergent experiences.

One guild member got a mirror in the first week, meanwhile my level 42 character had such paltry drops that it was wearing a 2 link helm and 3 link gloves.

As long as we don't have the exit button, I am not touching the league mechanic on red maps. Need to get better gear to be able to.

But I found it boring/repetitive yet still very rewarding.
Its definitely boring. Its rewarding, but insanely boring. Running around picking up wisps and hunting for a vendor isnt what I consider peak gameplay.

Previously you had to run around monnsters, doding enemies attacks and trying to not DMG anything while you wait for your robot to buff enemies.
I would say its big step up compared to sentinel.
this is the most rewarding league ggg has ever released. ofc you won't find anything if you find only 1k wisps

yes it's very boring to run around the garden though
