And that is bad to design around. Balancing around trade scews drops into having no value. At some level time spent playing the game to kill monsters serves no purpose. Your character exists solely to use other peoples materials into crafting items that can't occur naturally.

At some point it ceases to be fun and turns into a worse version of eve online.

What about the flipside to that? If the expectation is that a player can obtain their gear in a solo setting; you run into the same problem of killing monsters for fractional upgrades because the game HAS to give you your 'set' with little friction (because if it was hard, you'd be in the same scenario you're complaining about in PoE).

So what happens is you get your baseline gear set and now you're grinding exponentially more mobs for upgrades which have diminishing increments.

It's fine to prefer one over the other but to claim the grass is greener on one side is false.

PoE is a game with a lot of depth. The gearing curve fits with that expectation.

people literally make 20-30d in solo MF only becuz of league mechanic to the point alot of people are even saying they should reduce the rewards from league mechanic i am casually mapping without MF build and i am consistently dropping divines/exalts every few maps you need alot of blue juice like 3-4.5k and you need a build with like 20mil dps as minimum to feel comfortably this is the most CRAZY REWARDING league mechanic ever
Yeah but it's dogshit for people with ~3-5 mio dps builds that play 3-4 hours a day.
And this is the vast majority. I'd rather farm something else on t16 than the league mechanic on t10 maps even if it is more rewarding.

It would be great if i can juice my map, but not expedition encounters for example or Betrayal dudes, that just run away if you can't kill them fast enough. These mobs haven't even spawned yet when i do the thingy. This is just bad design.(And yes i'd like some cheese with that wine ;) )

Would have been so great, if we get 3 lore friendly devices to press a button like in Sentinel, but oh no, whoops Archnemisis here we go again....

the league mechanic cant be possibly targeted for everyone this time the league mechanic requires huge dps if you wanna profit from it no one is forcing you do it tho if you cant
I am fully aware of that. That's why i am cruising with 4 ascendancy points in Warden and uncompleted challenges, to farm some non juiced altairs and Expedtion on Jungle Valley/Mesa maps tyvm...

Im not geting that. I play on the weekend and 1 hour from monday to friday a day if im lucky.
IM not going to get these numbers. For me its frustration, boredom and not understanding why i have to go into that hole to get something.
And i dont think many people are playing much more then what im able to play.
Im going into the hole in t15-t16 im geting out with 1600-2000 wisps got 3k a couple of times. I cant target wisps becouse i cant see shit and wich wisps are where. I dont know wich way to go cuz and im runing into deadends.
Then i get out and i drop the usual couple of chaoses and thats it.
Im not geting divines. Im not geting shit. I cant buy stuff to upgrade my build.
I have a completly diferent experience with this thing.

well what can i say too bad for you this game is pretty hardcore grindy and if you got so little time to play its gonna be very hard to make any progress maybe you should look for easier games like diablo 3/4 perfect for people with very little time to play
