Is it really a "meta shake-up"?

What you guys think about "meta shake-up" term?
In my opinion changes are interesting, but will they really change the meta? Probably all of us (or most of us) are considering same starters as always. I feel like we gonna have same or almost the same high tier meta builds plus some more off-meta, not strong enough to clear a bit harder content, mediocore builds. Is it just me? Start of the league will be extremely meta, but as the league progresses, a crazy number of new builds will start popping up...

new options to play with. and combinations to builds makes this good shake up. yes they did not kill skills(sorry RF) but they added alot of new options to play.
and most ppl anyway play same starter build every league no matter what. (sorry RF :D ) | |

Until we see all the trans gems, there's no way to know for sure. The current meta exists due to emergent interaction between skills and ascendancies that created additional scaling possibilities. Deadeye+TS or LA meta on high end exists because those two skills offer the effective shotgunning and thus gain additional scaling possibilities via projectile count especially on high end, where number of different factors you can scale offer biggest DPS increases. RF+Fire Trap exists because you can scale both in the same way while keeping both at full effect and having enough left for good defenses, making it stand out on low end.
Keep an eye out for trans gems that will offer similar opportunities for unique scaling. If they appear, there will be meta shakeup. If not, the game will be stale. |

It's not a meta shakeup at all. It's going to be bow league part 3 with a third of the community leaguestarting LA and transitioning into TS or maybe even league start TS. RF got nerfed but Pohx will likely adapt the build. Other than that, nothing changed. The unpopular skills will remain that way and other popular skills haven't been touched. At least 99% of the trans gems is going to be useless trash and if there happens to be a gem among them it's going to get butchered next league with certainty. This can at best be called a minor tweak, if that. Not a shake up.
