" Hilarious. PoE2 is after an entirely different audience, I don't think long term it is going to have any significant effect on PoE1 player numbers. PoE2 is about as comparable to PoE1 as Lost Ark is, and is probably going to have a similar effect on player numbers. That is most people are going to check it out, but nearly all PoE1 players will return to PoE1 because it's the type of game they want to be playing, instead of a WASD souls-like set in the PoE universe. | |

the thing is they will probably put 90% of their time/effort into poe 2 and the results will be felt so even if people prefer poe 1 they will go to the game that gets more love from the devs.
if both games get the same amount of attention then i would stay on poe 1 for sure but i think poe 1 will be pretty much abandoned by the devs. even now we can really feel how most of them are working on poe 2 Last edited by Lyutsifer665 on Dec 2, 2023, 9:39:26 PM
