Yikes, there was quite an uproar when this garena pet ended up on the official servers because it just does not fit the poe lore. Then again with all the junk being added lately, it doesn't stand out as much like it used to.

I wish that i had bought the Open Beta packs, i was new to the game at that point and had no idea what supporter pack's were. I love those weapon effects still IMO the best in game, the pets were really cool as well. Bummer!!

Id say to this....IF you had an active account during which time the supporter pack was for sale, then you should be able to still buy them, but thats my opinion.

Hoho it would be nice if they were to make old packs accessible again. There are a couple I would purchase immediately. Exclusivity is nice and all but even Riot Games at some point realized that it is both positive for both the company and playerbase to make old content, even if limited, available again.

Even more so since PoE1 might be put on life support at some point. They could just cycle old leagues every 3 months and make their respective supporter packs available during the duration.

The real kicker was that, when questioned later about the process by which the "plan" changed, Jonathan basically revealed that the decision had been made about two years after the initial announcement. Two. Years. If GGG had come out then and revealed that they had, for whatever reasons, changed the plan, I would have been disappointed, but not like I was when I watched the Exilecon 2023 announcement. Wanting to save it for a big announcement at Exilecon was NOT an acceptable excuse. I and many others had been waiting FOUR YEARS for something which never came. I wanted PoE 1 to become better, not become yesterdays news, too flawed, apparently, to be worth improving. =>[.]<=

Exclusivity is part of the marketing, and I hope this stays.
The only thing I'm mad about is not getting the ExileCon 2 portal while I literally had the stream on for the whole weekend while accounts were connected (worked for previous and later streams).
