In my opinion all packs should be available at all times for everyone to buy. F**k exclusivity. Its a shitty marketing strategy.
They would make more money from me if i could buy packs from before i started playing the game.

If they gave the ability to buy a past supporter pack IF you buy the current one, that would be cool. It would keep them very exclusive but also available to those who want to spend $500 + another $500 each year.

It's not that the system is flawed, you're just projecting your frustration that you cannot get these items.

Then you needlessly insult those who have bought things in the past that are exclusive. Meaning of life includes gaming, concepts of friendship, achievements, full spectrum of human emotions and social interaction, are all in just another form. It is real life, it is a part of it.

There's nothing wrong with something being available for a limited time only. Good to teach a concept that nothing lasts forever, and it's actually a smart business strategy not a bad one like you suggest.

There are plenty of achievements, items, and virtual rewards in many games I can never get. I wouldn't take it away from those who have them just because I missed out.

There are plenty of prestigious titles, items and so forth to get without having access to everything at any time.

This business model is there for a reason, just like pre-order exlsusive items in gaming. To show people at THAT time wanted to support the game, and the reward is an exclusive item.

I got a Rolling Head Pet from Halloween 2014. I didn’t realize it was limited, it’s a solid pet. Oh and the Pumpkin Fire Head cosmetic.

Would I like to have the Breach Portal MTX? Sure as hell, it's one of the best out there! Does it bug me that I will never get to have it? Sure does! But think of it the other way around: the people who do own it know they have something that not everyone will have, and that makes the accomplishment of acquiring it so much better.

That's how I feel about challenge MTX every season too. It being limited inherently increases its value, so I hope GGG never caves on that

I love the exclusivity.

I really wanted that pet cat MTX from Expedition league, but I hated the nerfs that league, so I didn't buy it.

I'm sad I never bought the pack in Legacy league as well.

I think it's good for their sales as well as for the people that bought them, because you have something you can't get anymore.

I was not around for the kiwi pet, but when I see even the lowest tier in town I think it's cute and have a good idea how long they have been playing for.

I do wish they would do a few more exclusives though. They used to do those league hats, and doing a 1 time halloween would be nice if they made a new one each year, it's been a while.

cool story man but my real life accomplishments are strictly separated from my video game accomplishments and neither has any bearing on the other. Exclusivity always matters, the kiwi wouldn't be cool if everyone could buy it today
