Yes because overflooding market with items, inflation, complete invalidation of other methods of getting items, complete removal of player interraction and removal of any effort is such trivial matter.

Now trading is limited by the hassle you need to go through, with AH you remove the only deterent. It wont just be noticeable, it would be the end of the game.
