In-game trading system?!!!!
Hello, everyone.
I hope you guys are enjoying the league. Why can't GGG introduce an in-game trading system instead of messaging people for trades, joining parties, traveling to hideouts, etc? This is essentially so time-consuming, and it is also opening the window for price-fixers and fake prices. So, instead of the current trading approach, when someone adds an item for sale in his premium takes, it should appear in a "market" NPC where I can buy through simply clicking "buy" Last bumped on Nov 19, 2023, 7:24:39 PM

Cause a auction house would make the bot situation even worse as it already is.
All the people with their trade bots would benefit even more out of it and ruin the market even further for the normal player without any bots. Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

Because they are lazy. If you haven't noticed they've been leaving other people to deal with streamlining important services. If their community does it for them and if a sizeable part has been fooled that an AH will ruin the game why do anything to change that? PoE 2 and cosmetics are more important you know
Its kind of like Bethesda - they know their community will fix their games via mods so why bother making them better? Last edited by Johny_Snow on Oct 7, 2023, 3:01:05 PM

" they could improve trade in many ways that's true but being able to open trade and buy anything instantly would be bots paradise |

So fucking what? You are meaning to tell me the game hasn't been infested with bots already? Really? Oh no, the disease that has already been infesting the game for years will get slightly worse!

" Could someone elaborate on the immense fear of bots? Grinding for gear I get. But the tedious interactions involved with trading? One must assume that the intent of listing an item is to sell it. The argument revolving a decrease in player base if items are too easily obtained doesn't seem to stick, when considering the plethora of other games still around. I mean...we don't stop looking for meat just because the condiments are more readily available, on the contrary we experiment more and thus are eager to look for new combinations of dishes. Hence prolonging the game experience and game session. |

Because people live in the delusion that bots don't alredy ruin the entire economy, and that it would somehow be worse.

Its not only about bots. Trading is in direct competition with dropping and crafting items. Make one to easy and you invalidate the other 2 methods. AH is also no different than making an NPC that sells every item you want. Trading is already to easy.

Trade is currently pretty dead. So few are playing this league anymore.
