If you think yourself so smart to give me the chaos equivalent of divines in a trade
" I mean, it all depends on the offer. I bought an amulet this week, where the seller asked for 49div. Since I wasn't able to sell my high value div cards yet, I offered them in exchange. At first he declined on the idea of an offer, but when I posted it, he realized it was worth it. It was a Doctor and an Unrequited Love Card, worth around 52div at the time, so he gave me 3 div instead and we were good. He actually made a good deal, since those cards tend to rise in price over time aswell. (+gamba potential) I don't like the idea that every item offer is automatically a scam, sometimes people just need an item badly and can't wait days to sell their shit. (most of the time the item in question is gone by that time) Just politely decline if u think it's not worth it or u don't want to go through the reselling process, but ignoring people just for offering is just bad manners imo.
"This has to be the best thing I've ever read on this forum. Thank you!
" Baha point stands. You get what you want and i get stuck with another item that still might not sell. I would only do this if i get a few more divs for the effort, otherwise it's a potential trap with no actual benefit for me. Ruthless should be [Removed by Support].

What's the problem? Just decline the trade and move on with your life.
Personally I offer Chaos Orbs from time to time, but I ask if it's OK before joining the hideout. Furthermore I add more than the current exchange rate in value to make up for it, which most people are OK with. Don't be an a-hole about it, bro! My most hated game.
My most favorite game. Such is the duality of man. |

Oh, you wanna know why? Because trading is fucking painful and I don't want it to become even more painful. There is no guarantee that I can exchange the chaos orbs for divines in any reasonable amount of time even if I whisp for high prices. Everybody is either a smart guy playing the market or actually playing the game and is engaged in content you can't escape from. Hell, I can barely even trade nowadays because all I do is tota and it forces you to end the match.

" Well, if you opt to ignore people for that little I bet it will be full very soon. Honestly I dont get the big fuss about it. Do I care in what type of currency I get paid, as long as its the correct amount? Not at all. Especially for small amounts like one divine... Thats not even something I trade up in chaos. 2k chaos in the stash tab? Sure, then I trade up. And it takes just a few seconds if you price the chaos yourself instead of trying to buy divines. Just a few moments later people flood your hideout to buy 920c per trade. So... But I mean, its your choice in the end and if u pref. to put people on ignore for that, more power to u I guess xD In the meantime, this thread was well worth it for the poem :D
" I don't think it was a scam. I did check the item and the listings were indeed 20 div plus. Thing is, this was in standard, just because someone lists an item for 20 div doesn't mean you can actually sell it for that price and how long it might take even if you manage is it's own story. If he had offered an easy to sell div card like doctor or alternative currency like frag orb i would have done it no questions asked. But for an item where i am not sure if i can really sell it for that value AND with the premise that i give him 5 div on top of the item he wants to get an item i don't want? Why would i ever to agree to something like that? It's all risks and problems for me with zero benefit. Last edited by Baharoth15 on Sep 26, 2023, 8:30:47 AM

I'd say "could you find a div for me and i will keep the item just for you. :)"

Waste of time. Somebody else will just buy it in a shorter amount of time.
