Streamers saying how glad GGG fixed the exploit after using it?

Am i the only one baffled by the number of streamers backtracking and say they are glad GGG nerfed the reverse knockback bug, after literally using the exploit for the past week?

It is shocking that even content creators and hardcore racers (aka the best players in the game) are downright reliant on exploits to do a game mechanic feeling like it's necessary to do to play the game...?

In particular, i'm talking about Steelmage and Zizaran, there are probably others but these two are by far the most vocal about abusing the bug and being fine with it full well knowing it was going to be fixed.

Where is the line drawn in terms of players abusing unintended mechanics? Just because something is in the game, doesn't make it ethical to do and promote. It kinda ruins the economy. Sad imho .

If you are one of the best players in the game, why do they feel the need to be reliant on broken mechanics to achieve something so basic as a farming strategy?

Well, all i've seen is predominently viewers gushing over how smart the streamers are, and that GGG are bad for making a mechanic where cheesing is necessary..... but imho, learn to play the mechanic as intended, and via skill rather than exploits. But each to their own.

But yeah but I think people are of the mindset "ggg bad" nerf bad when it's the contrary. The exploit was afk e.z currency printer and people are mad over it. I just find it funny streamers are saying they are glad, after abusing the exploit for the past few days, pardon?

One thing is for sure, i have more respect for the streamers that called out the bullshit and found it unnecessary to cheese and cheat to "win". There were a few. I don't think it's right content creators that are essentially the voice of the casual player and receive so many clicks actively promoting cheese and exploiting in the game, we could all see it was not good for the economy nor fair and they still did it, promoted it, and made clickbait out of it. GGG hotfixed it within 24 hours of being a thing but imho GGG need to pick who they use to promote their product than those actively exploiting mechanics for personal gain.

That's what they are paid to do. Gush over GGG and get clicks. Whatever it takes.

A shame, and a bigger shame that GGG promote these said "players".
Man, y'all take video games way too serious.

GGG has become very unethical and way to relaxed about the virtual economy in general.

Most of the wealth created in the first 2 weeks is

1.) Scamming noobs by buying their items through quicksearch/livesearch under market price.
Since there is no similar item up at this point, they have no clue how much it is worth.
Been a thing since we had trade websites (most famously with Kaom's Heart cards dropping in act 6 when it was still worth something).
This process is highly automated, just test it yourself by underpricing a certain item, you will get instant whipsers by 1000+ bot accounts.

2.) Exploiting things, like the divine duping we had this league, broken beast recipes, or skill interactions that create insane DPS or like this league knockback to skip the league mechanic

3.) BOTS BOTS BOTS BOTS, esspecially trade bots.

Does GGG ban these players, reroll servers, delete currency, prevent this from happening and so on?
NOPE.

50% of the currency in the game is "illegaly" acquired.
Its just sad.

This "fresh" economy is always run by the mafia...
Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me.

Probably to get on GGG good side.

Streamers could potentially get ban for using exploits.
