Legion 5 way exp farming gone.
So many things just gutted and nerfed that make 0 sense.
Just let us have some fun for once ya know?

"Fun detected" method used when changing tree and ascendancies is especially harmful to the game since its the core features.

I'm very interested in your definition of fun. What exactly fun in "exp farming 5way"? It's currency making method (or exp making method), sure, but what it has in common with fun?

I think the point is not that exp farming is fun. The point is that having a way (even if it's boring as hell) to get to 100 (or even to 95 quickly) and actually experience the full potential of a build is what has been gutted.

Unless you're a no-life high-school/college/streamer that has the time to play 8 hours a day, doing some 5 ways was the best way to actually be able to experience new builds.

What irritates me more is that this has been in the game for OVER 4 YEARS! Why in the hell would they basically remove it now?

Why not complain then about death penalty? So it's not less fun but it's just more expensive.

As always, people complain not about real problems (like melee is much less efficient or each new technical improvement create technical problems - like last thing with particle) but that GGG takes from them easy and, honestly, overpowered toys (forgot to mention that each league creates new ways to overpower char)
If game feels good after two weeks, voting with wallet but expecting to quit earlier like last league.

The good side is.. those who have not played last league as it was sh*t can play this league and experience this sh*t.

We need this number below 10k this league starting second month.

Tawhoa, Forest's Strength: Now provides "Trigger Level 20 Tawhoa's Chosen when you Attack with a Non-Vaal Slam or Strike Skill near an Enemy" (previously Non-Vaal Slam Skill). The small Ascendancy Passive Skill prior no longer provides 10% increased Area of Effect, it now provides 10% increased Melee Damage.

Apart from the strike skills addition, is the CD, scaling, all the same as before?
If it's a strike skill, is it just used a single time?

Part of the community is so naive...

This patch shows the team is focused on POE2 and simply doesn't have enough time and people to make any substantial change.

Did you actually believe that "dual support" thing? Come on, it's been 5 months, and all they could do was what it looks like a more elaborate league and bring Sanctum back. There is some interesting Atlas tree stuff, but no meta shake-up or anything like it.

I'm not complaining about the patch notes, there are some nerfs that look completely random like always, and personally, for someone who came back in Crucible after a year, the game still feels fresh. I just think they should be more honest about POE 1's future.

Maybe they're working on some major expansion that will be released before POE 2. Whatever the case is, I still believe they'll just keep POE 1 on life support after POE 2 drops, kinda like what Arenanet does with Guild Wars. People can argue that after POE2's release they can split the teams more evenly so both games can have substantial updates, but that's simply not very realistic is it?

75% of this Table of Contents is about ruthless?
3 ascendency changes for the entire game
25 changes for ruthless?

is that a joke or what ?

I thought I have seen everything on poe forums but to actually see a delusional person who thinks that 1% phys damage reduction and 0,2% life regen per aura enabled is worse the 5% increased recovery rate of life, mana and es per aura enabled is for sure up there in the stupidest things people stated in POE category. Lets say you have 5 auras enabled with guardian... with old Unwavering Faith you would get additional 5% phys damage reduction and 1% life regen per second. With the new version you get 25% increased regeneration rate of life, mana and es. And you think 25% life/mana/es regen rate is better then 5% phys damage reduction and 1% life regen per second. OMFG.

20% chance to gain a endurance/power/frenzy charge on hit is USELESS and link is better? Im not even going to comment that cause it it obvious you are clueless. Yes of course it is far better to have a link then getting max all charges with any skill and sharing them with your minions/party according to "YOUR" infinite wisdom and flawless logic. Go back to Diablo 4.

Stop trying so hard to prove something. You are NOT cooking shit. 25% recovery rate is the best stat you can have for recovery in general.

Also I didnt say that the link one is better as in the stats it provides. It's better in the sense that someone would actually pick this for fun, instead of the other one where no one would pick it ever.

This guy needs to get muted because he is cursing for no reason, it's kinda crazy how this is not punished yet.
And no, I'm not playing Diablo, why would I?

Atlas Tree looks nice

Don't care about Ruthless anymore, their changes should be presented separately and not in the middle of the patch notes

Sanctum is not my favorite but curious about how rare the good uniques will be

Hopefully the trials of ancestors will bring some fun diversity to play style and won't become too boring after a couple of tournaments

Chieftain is interesting, probably trying another RF marauder league start and see if the 5% explode is enough to be satisfying. Otherwise probably changing it into some ignite attack build later on, but really I will just see what the pros come up with, I don't have the time and energy to figure all this out anymore

some support skills look very underwhelming (1 trauma stack per enemy?! and who will use devour instead of a support that helps dmg or clear?!) whereas others look busted (spellblade? battlemage? maybe with energy blade? on archmage build?)

hopefully the 5-way xp farm nerf was enough and not just inflated the price, because it feels so cheap and unsatisfying to get from 70 to 90+ without even playing the game (yes I did it once or twice and yes I would rather not do it again, kinda like you wanna binge on a whole bag of sweets but it doesn't feel good afterwards)

All in all I have a mixed feeling between wanting to play now and something is missing from the patch notes. Anyways, seeing other people's posts i can only shake my head because it seems like they read a line that stuck out to them and they based all their repressed anger onto that with nothing else to provide other than a biased negative post
