Legion 5 way exp farming gone.
So many things just gutted and nerfed that make 0 sense.
Just let us have some fun for once ya know?

"Fun detected" method used when changing tree and ascendancies is especially harmful to the game since its the core features.

I'm very interested in your definition of fun. What exactly fun in "exp farming 5way"? It's currency making method (or exp making method), sure, but what it has in common with fun?

I think the point is not that exp farming is fun. The point is that having a way (even if it's boring as hell) to get to 100 (or even to 95 quickly) and actually experience the full potential of a build is what has been gutted.

Unless you're a no-life high-school/college/streamer that has the time to play 8 hours a day, doing some 5 ways was the best way to actually be able to experience new builds.

What irritates me more is that this has been in the game for OVER 4 YEARS! Why in the hell would they basically remove it now?

pls make ruthless a separate note at the end not in the middle of everything it's confusing
Somebody don't play own game, haha.
But truth is that ggg doesn't connected good with community. Big part of reddit posts about main problems of poe 1 are banned
Provide us with fun builds for league start, bring back forgotten gems you haven't touched for years.

You're really competing with D4, which has only been out for 2 months, in terms of build diversity. If there are only a few builds that can do uber content for league start, there's definitely an issue. And if you're seeing too much damage from poison, while there are plenty of ways to nerf poison specifically, it's really bad to solve this issue by nerfing Temporal Chains and thus destroying some self-curse builds.

Very disappointing
No skill balance is dissapoiniting
The atlas tree stuff is nice though

Dear GGG,

The community has asked for a meta shake-up for a long time now. Why are you not listening? Can't you have at least one employee work on balance changes?

Once again, we don't need a "meta shakeup", we need a "meta expansion".

We need more performing skills, not less. They've been nerfing skills for ten years and the meta is smaller than it was then.
The nerfs will continue until morale improves.
Very underwhelming.....

I WANT TO REMIND YOU THAT IN THIS LEAGUE YOU WILL GET MORE % MANA RESERVATION EFFICACY AND +1 TO GEMS FROM TATOOS LEAGUE MECHANIC, SO CALM DOWN...

THIS LEAGUE YOU WILL NOT HAVE CRUCIBLE PASSIVES SKILL TREE BONUSES, SO KEEP THAT IN MIND.

BTW why change legion 5-way xp? Sad.

Still waiting for Cyclone gem buff.

Stun immunity to many bosses removed. Nice.

Vall summon skeletons + NEW GEM (100% increased DAMAGE + 25% increased AS and CS for 5-6 sec with normal tree and lab choice) + MINION DAMAGE + MINION SPEED +SPELL ECHO + pierce/volley/ faster attacks/empower/ up to you + DEAD RECONING JEWEL for mage skelies?.

THAT is looking INTERESTING!

Part of the community is so naive...

This patch shows the team is focused on POE2 and simply doesn't have enough time and people to make any substantial change.

Did you actually believe that "dual support" thing? Come on, it's been 5 months, and all they could do was what it looks like a more elaborate league and bring Sanctum back. There is some interesting Atlas tree stuff, but no meta shake-up or anything like it.

I'm not complaining about the patch notes, there are some nerfs that look completely random like always, and personally, for someone who came back in Crucible after a year, the game still feels fresh. I just think they should be more honest about POE 1's future.

Maybe they're working on some major expansion that will be released before POE 2. Whatever the case is, I still believe they'll just keep POE 1 on life support after POE 2 drops, kinda like what Arenanet does with Guild Wars. People can argue that after POE2's release they can split the teams more evenly so both games can have substantial updates, but that's simply not very realistic is it?
