Will there be an XP death penalty in POE2?

I don't see the XP bar shrinking when players die during the broadcast. So looks like no xp loss on death so far. But would be good to get an official confirmation from the devs.

This needs to be clarified with regard to POE2. I'm surprised this hasn't been done yet in the Q&As.

Personally wouldn't make or break it if that feature is present or not. New Zealanders will let us know in advance.
