[3.23] Lk's Cold DoT Ele [League-start to over 40m DoT] (Wildwood Primalist Update)

Trying to upgrade my gems now since finding a proper Skin of Lords is too hard / expensive.I feel that my biggest problems are stuns. Even a random skeleton out of nowhere mini-stuns me. Any ideas how I can overcome this problem with my build ? and Im open to any other suggestions as well since I am a noob at this game.

It's a tradeoff. With evasion you have a chance to not take physical damage at all, but when you do you will take more damage if you don't have IR. Don't look at the physical damage reduction % on your defense stat as there is a deeper formula for PDR.

Just looking at POB, my phys max hit pool goes from 13k to to 19k, about a 50% increase. Whether that's a good trade off for not evading ~60% of the time depends on your playstyle and content you're doing.

For general content it's better to have multiple layers of defense, but since we were talking about skin of the lords keystones, IR is definitely something you can work with if you can get one for cheap

I wouldn't trade armour for evasion.

Also, just take note that Hex Master has reduced effect of curses. But it is a minor detrimental effect as compared to something like Blood Magic which is literally unplayable.

1. Get lvl 21 Creeping Frost
2. Empower is only worth running at lvl 3 >> get Empower lvl 3
3. Elemental Focus lvl 5 gives +1 to supported skill gems
4. Craft non-damaging ailments on your amulet, non-damaging ailments is too impact to give up (get the DEX somewhere else)*
5. For weapon and shield you wanna use POB trade optimize (esp your shield is quite easy to find an upgrade) **
6. The physical damage converted to cold damage on glove doesn't do anything, you can replace it (btw that is physical damage from you, not taken)

I see a number of non-detrimental keystone SOTLs at 15 divines or lower atm.

I've created a trade filter for SOTL removing all of the detrimental keystones that I saw on trade: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Ancestor/v3anezZCE

I wanted to remove certain keystones like Chaos Inoculation but it seems like that is not even a possibility (TIL).

Some suggestions:
1. Use blessing orb to reroll Mark of the Shaper implicit
2. You don't need freeze immunity suffixes on Granite and Quicksilver Flasks (get freeze immunity from Pantheon/Frigid Wake). Hence you should reroll for Evasion/Armor/Movespeed.
3. Glove - reroll exarch influence for Cold DoT multiplier (or something useful because added lightning dmg does nothing)
4. Replace amulet craft with increased effect of non-damaging ailments (you can use harvest craft to swap cold resistance on shield into fire)
5. Consider running ele resist cannot be lowered by curses instead of corrupted blood for protection mastery because ele weakness map mod can cause your resistances to go below 75%.
6. Boots - use tainted armourer's scrap for quality
7. Get lvl 21 Creeping Frost - very important for all skill gems to be lvl 21
8. Get Empower lvl 4
9. Get 20% quality on shield charge, flame dash and faster attacks for better mobility
10. Get lvl 21 Frostbite - quality on frostbite isn't useful
11. Get 20% quality on Divine Blessing
12. Replace controlled destruction on gloves with awakened CD
13. Repace bonechill with Divergent Bonechill

Are you looking for more defense or DPS? Your DPS is currently 29.2m and your EHP is 90.7k.

Your gear is quite good, so you will have to make trade-off decisions between DPS and EHP.

Some suggestions:
1. For your wand, you can harvest craft for elemental damage/AoE.
2. CDoT Malevolence on Watcher's Eye is even better for DoT DPS (https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Ancestor/Kj64RDqi5)
3. There are better Death Rush rings with more recovery and longer Adrenaline status (with elemental resistances corruption)
4. Get lvl 21/20 Efficacy

Thanks for the tips, i'd rather get more dps I think, maybe ill start working towards double corrupt bis chest but it will be a while lmao, i've tried to swap death rush for a beter one but I don't know how to get the resistances I'd lose, its been a while since I searched but I will keep an eye on it to get one with the res and the better roll.
For the harvest craft thing i'd need to lose the cold res right? are there services for it on tft? i've never done anything harvest related.
