Following up on Recent Feedback

My limit for stealing blood is 2500+, if the monster hits me, my HP starts to decrease, which means I have to give up my survival and kill this monster in an instant, thanks GGG
Since it was requested, some feedback on a couple of pieces of lake league content:

TL;DR Beyond still feels way too tough and takes way too long; not so concerned about paltry loot as the toughness, damage and time. Metamorph is dropping some equally minimal loot now and thankfully far easier by comparison (but everything is far easier by comparison). Still finding the lake fun to run and it's a fair source of bubblegum currency, but it feels like my time would be better spent on other content for safer XP and loot in less time.

I just cleared a 15 tile level 78 lake. Cleared most of the map in a few mins with a level 92 Corrupting Fever character; I'd have brought my new level 76 SRS alt who is clearing red maps, but it would have been fatal at the...

Reflection of Demonfire (Beyond+) difficulty 11 took 4 minutes, nearly fatal twice, fighting Beyond mobs in groups of literally 2-3 to avoid an otherwise immediate rip. Just two magic Beyond monsters (Hexer) nearly killed me thanks to their getting lucky with curses. Whereas a I facetanked a difficulty 7 Reflection of Tyranny (3 frost bosses) and difficulty 8 Reflection of Catalysis (Metamorph) by just holding down attack (I have good regen, leech, 25k armour, 75% resists, 24% block and 36% suppression, i.e. next to no defences).

The Demonfire tile yielded 4 chaos' worth of currency (1 tainted chromatic, 2 tainted armourer's). Thankfully I received my full lake unlock which was the purpose of putting Beyond in the lake. I don't expect it to shower me in loot, but I would expect it to take about 1/10th of the time and hit about 1/10th as hard. I'd have preferred it drop nothing, but be far easier so I could achieve the lake unlock, rather than take 4 minutes and still drop next to nothing. But I was very thankful a Beyond boss didn't show up.

Facetaking the difficulty 8 Reflection of Catalysis quickly yielded 6 catalysts and some bubblegum currency. Overall 50% of the time was spent in the Beyond tile in exchange for a few% of the Lake's loot. No real XP since level 92 to not die.
Why do you hope that melee combat is like a long-range, hit and run? So you put a skill that restrains melee players on the monster

Not sure if this will ever be seen since it is a bit late and deep down the list, but I got to say I appreciate the efforts to listen to feedback and make adjustments. I'm having a ton of fun this league. I hope you don't give up on the LoK mechanic as I like it and the game needs as many hexagons as possible. Keep up the good work!

One thing I'd like to hear about with respect to PoE2 is the vision of how you plan to merge the endgames of PoE1 and PoE2. It makes me nervous that they are very much incompatible ... at least comparing the amazing PoE2 beta I got to play in 2019 vs what PoE1 is now (which I love, but it is just a very different feel). So when you adjust things like AN until you, and the players, are happy with it, is that because they will be in PoE2 as-is? That makes me worried.

Likewise all the past league things like Legion, Blight, Heist, etc ... how does that "fit" in the PoE2 world/lore without feeling very disjointed? Please give more info on your vision for this other than "maps are out of space and time so the endgames can be the same no problem". I look forward to playing PoE2 beta in July!

As we mentioned in our last post, some players have noted that they'd prefer item drops to have lower variance - i.e. fewer big spikes of valuable rewards with the rewards averaged out across more encounters. This is something we're still discussing.


Wouldn't be desirable to remove the rewards from monsters and stack rarity in the map boss? This would make game slower - like in the vision - due the fact that for the biggest reward, the player will need to clean the entire map, and at the same point, can give us a juice reward in the end of the map? Not to mention that we'll only have rewards over a single screen, inteast of things splitted over the map.
Okay, let's sum it up, 75hrs in 2 weeks, just like 2 work weeks, 2 raw exalts, 0 divine drops, 1 cortex. Atlas is 95% completed, can't go further since I don't have currency to progress and therefore to level up and I don't want to run Heist or some other out-of-map league mechanics. Lakes are not worth it to run, harvest is too little even for basic rolls(not to mention missing high-tier crafts) and AN mobs are too depressing to kill. I just simply unmotivated to continue. I usually disappointed in my league starter build and wnat to start a new one. But, I don't have currency to make it going and the most important one, I can't find or think about the build that will be suitable for me, since many of them are nerfed to the ground (thank you, Sirus), again, and I don't want to encounter this AN nonsense again for no loot.

Bring back ultimatum, Ritual or whatever with good ol' Nemesis, loot tables/coeff, beyond, crafts, EXALTS where we were enjoing the game and not struggling. Because struggle is the first thing that comes in my mind about this league.

I think I'm done with this league, maybe, I will login few times, but I doubt that.

Im sorry to say, you ruined your game. It feels like you are making the game for yourself. Ypu look at feedback, but you dont listen to it. You say you play your own game, is that past act 3?

Why do you always overnerf stuff? Why do you always remove fun? If you want the game to be more like d2 you have a big Job infront of you.

The game in it current state feels like its the last weekend of the league, its so boring and pale.

"We nerfed drop so groupplay aint that OP anymore" what you did with that, you made the difference between solos and groupplay even bigger.

You removed everything good with harvest, announced it like you were gona remove all Thore useless craft, but took away the good ones and you back it up with "They are too op to be tradeble" are you serious? THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TRADEBLE, just not scamsafe.


Rares, if you want us to pick up rares and id them because thats what you do in d2, you have to either make it so dropped rares have a better outcome or you have to reduce the mods on items cuz with 200 rares dropping in a map maybe 1 is okay, since you have 363617 different combinations.


If you dont fix your game, it will die, with this progression there will be none left to poe2..
