Appreciate this Chris. Your walked into the mob and took it on the chin. the vitriol some people have is silly. At the end of the day you guys are trying to do what you feel is best. Look forward to seeing how this all settles and looks going forward.

this is the most worrying post I've ever seen for any game this basically says you either fundamentally did not understand why this game was fun and removed it in ignorance or you did understand and chose to remove it not caring how it effected players. "opting-in to more difficulty" where is the opt out of archnemis option? cause that seems to be some of the most difficult content and is just always active. Philosophy Three: There shouldn't be a large gap between the difficulty and rewards of league content and base game content I completely disagree on a fundamental level

While I don't agree with this direction of loot being so contained in single monsters instead of spaced out through the map, I'm impressed with the dialogue in this post overall.
Thanks for the communication Chris, I hope the toxicity flying around recently isn't hitting you guys too hard because there's definitely still a lot of work to do. I just want this game to be the best it can be, and wish you the best of luck on achieving that. |

so the idea is to change the the base game mid life and Screw your player base hmm dont think that worked out POE 1 should not be your testing ground for POE@ or your Hard league

Dude I dont want to pray for a rare with certain combination every 100 maps and hope it drops few divines I want invest few chaos in my map and at least get even or turn profit on average. Seeing groups drop 50 divines from one rare just shows how bad this system is. It's damn lottery.

While we now understand the intentions behind the horrible 3.19 release. You can't deny that loot is still dead people can't find enough alch/chisels and vaal orbs to keep mapping while last league this wasn't an issue.
The top end players juicing maps in 6 man parties were making 6-10chaos per map and this map took 10min to clear. Solo players who try to juice their maps doing some of their favorite content were now losing half the currency they invested rather than making currency. The idiology of making content harder for more and better rewards simply has the opposite effect at the moment and it SUCKS! Archnemesis going core was a mistake, it's been there for 2 leagues now and for 2 leagues it has been so overpowered it's downright ridiculous. Map bosses die in a matter of seconds while archnemesis monsters take no damage and can kill you in just a few frames. No ampunt of adding loot multipliers will fix the simple fact that the mods themselves make it unfun and unfair to interact with rare monsters. Harvest crafting is dead. So many of the usefull crafts were removed and the price for the remaining crafts are absurdly high compared to the juice we're getting. Minion builds can't keep their minions (and their animite gaurdians) alive this is an entire playstyle affecting many builds that is simply no longer viable (Ghazzy is pissed for sure) People don't care about rares that drop they are unusable 99% of the time, crafting them is more effecient and more fun but we can't do that now. Top end crafting is litterly getting a fractured item and spamming essences untill you hit something good. It's braindead to do and unfun. Tainted currency that you can obtain from scourge monsters is horrible as well. The chance of getting a 6link from a 4link used to be 50% chance twice so a 1 in 4 of succes. Now it's a 10% chance twice or a 1 in 100 chance of succes. Since you have to recraft your 4 link after every failed attempt it's simply not worth the risk. The exalted and divine change was so sudden that there is simply no support for the demand of divines. Exalted orbs can be obtainted through numerous farmable cards and shards from harbingers. Divines have 1 card and it's from a map boss and no shards from harbingers they are drop only and that's simply not good enough when every single meta mod for crafting requires divines. This change should've been made before divination cards and harbingers existed that way we'd have divine cards to farm and divine shards but it's to late for that now. It makes no sense just revert this change or let use get divines back from vendoring 6 links to keep up with the current demand. Overal the all the changes made with this league so far have been bad. Some had a decent idea like scourge and harvest but the execution has been absolutly horrible. I hope you can fix it all GGG but i really feel that you tried to do to much at once with this one, and because of that you weren't able to test anything properly. Imo you'd be better off focussing on making lake of kalandra a fun league and reverting all changes made back to what they were in 3.18 better yet make it 3.17 so archnemesis mods are gone as well. Then focus on the changes you wanted to make one at a time and when they are finished and balanced then add them into the game. Like i said the harvest and scourge ideas are a good start but poorly executed. I hope this helps (sorry for my bad english) IGN PutzyPS
