Moronic statement,. Saying people are farming mirror's a day and don't realise the impact you make on other groups from this,. you do realise these groups are cheating

I'm sort of a long time player of this game guys and I gotta be really honest with you regarding your recent leagues and balancing. I forgot the last time I felt excited for this game. I think it was when Sirus became the new end game content. The game was given back some purpose so that I couldn't just drop a starforge and play god with any form of content and I really had to mess around with my build to put together something consistent (barring I didn't just look up a tutorial on the most meta thing available, which I never did)
I started out in trade league before Sirus, don't remember which patch. I moved on to SSF because trading seemed to be too much of an advantage and made the entire game kind of a joke after 2 weeks of playing. Now I'm reading people say loot explosions are gone so trade league players purpose of relentlessly farming juiced maps kinda seems gone as well.
So what's the point really?
You can't play trade league because it doesn't feel rewarding.
You can't play SSF because you can't craft.
I think I'm at the point where either I don't feel like the game is fun anymore for me or the game itself forgot that it's a game, which implies being fun.
And I don't want to be that guy but at this point I think I'll only ever come back to this game if they release classic league/patches, where I can still have fun by playing the game the way I like instead of what it is now. I thought Legion was the best thing I've ever played in my life and I was sitting nights wondering how the developers will improve upon such a league. I was not even thinking that would be the last time I would have such fun in this game.

I totally agree, I liked the modifications done, I`m currently starting doing red maps, but checking everything in my build, mitigating spell suppression, phy reduction, etc.

I have never in the past taken care of these things, and I did many times Sirius, Ubers, etc.

I have friends complaining that they didn't kill any Uber in the 3 days playing the league, it shouldn't be normal, another friend quit because was taking time to clear T16.



Worst league ever .. played almost since the very first launch of the game back in 2013-2014..never seen such a big gap between a "casual" player and a farmer. the game is now only for the farmers, third party tool users etc .. i dont like the way GGG is heading. and since the game is supported mostly from us you should take into consideration fixing the things we are adressing!

All philosophies are sound good for me but it could be problematic when implemented. It should be tested careful before implemented as this is going to change the game completely. And unfortunately, it is become disaster now.
Besides, no answer about crafting as well.

--> the more patches added, it might make the thing worse as it is not correction but adding more adjustment on top of the current mistake (without sufficient test as well)

The big mistake here are:
1) GGG didn't test the change enough before introducing. This is totally unforgivable.
2) GGG didn't communicate this change. The reason given: overlook, small change blah blah blah are totally unforgivable as well. GGG should be professional enough to identify what is major change to the game.
3) GGG's content update sounds a juicy change especially the harvest (mainly the crafting) which hiding the most critical changes to the player (huge nerf). Eventually the outcome is totally different from player expectation, heavily disappointing most of the players.

Just my 2 cents worth of thought (to be tested)
1. To solve ton of items on the map dropping every where, it might be better to have in game pre-drop filter (on top of current post drop filter) that allow user to customize and ensure filtered items will not drop from the start instead of using post drop filter. Only tricky part is the group mapping as every will have own different pre-drop filter. So it should still allow user loosen the pre-drop filter and using after drop filter if they want.
Still most of the player is playing the game alone.

2. To solve ton of monsters required to kill in order to get loot (more monster kill more loots), GGG should consider reducing the monster quantity from leagues mechanics adding into the map (example delirium) but replacing more and more white or magic monster to rare or even unique monster. Alternatively make it tanky (not immune). It should not be over-tuned to the level that player cannot kill or too powerful (extremely high damage, high speed) can kill even the most tanky build. Besides rewards should be increasing more than linear so it is encouraging and attractive. Something like Sentinel league.

Focus only loop drop on certain higher rare monster from the map but nerf the league mechanics may not be a wise decision as this will make player just to zoom zoom zoom to find these rare monsters to kill in the map. Players will not invest on the league mechanics but just only focus on increasing map rarity (map modifier / gear / number of players) that will change whole game environment.

Been here a long time, but casual play is dead. There is no way to get even to semi endgame content without investing hundreds of hours or managing every little detail about gameplay, forcing party play etc. I'll take my leave from POE.

plain and simple.

Always thought GGG company was special, it actually was at the start. In the last couple of years something changed. I dont recognize GGG anymore. It is painful to leave something you love, but change is needed sometimes.

Can't really waste running maps for nothing
