" dude wtf (facepalm), don't give them these ridiculous ideas... PoE1 3.23 - the best league of all time (an absolute banger)
---- PoE2 0.2f - a bit better, but PoE1 atlas is a million times better than PoE2 atlas |

GGG, just want to give my perspective:
I play for a couple hours after work and as much as life lets me on the weekend. I think what makes league starts feel really good for me is when the base currencies are plentiful, map sustain is good, I don't need to trade for scarabs... These kinds of things give you a buoyancy and you feel like your zooming towards what your goals are for the league. This was missing in 3.19 and I think its why early maps and progression feels irritating. I quit last league because of the archnem brick wall that just felt unfair and only returned halfway through the league once it was reeled in. This league felt very similar but I was motivated to play and pushed through. Lightning conduit is -carrying- my fun right now because it feels great. So I'm going to see the league through for awhile but I am very skeptical about this archnem farming for currency or uniques. It feels one-dimensional, sporatic, and generally an unhealthy way to structure loot/rewards. Looking back, nem 3 I could prepare and -know- what returns i'm going to pull out in my couple hours play time after work rather than how I believe it will be now hoping to run into the right mob in that span of time. Most elements of hoping for lucky become tiresome honestly I understand the necessity of non-determinism, I think it's important but you guys also need to include determinism too. Deterministic farming and crafting really go a long way for the general satisfaction of playing. I think you should prioritize a balance of both. One more thing: I'm a little worried about being required to use MF gear and the strain that this will put on builds, especially off-meta ones or players who can't juice their build enough to trade off power for MF. It seems like a negative feedback loop. Hope my worries are unwarranted tho. Good luck making the game better, I'm hoping for the best. <3 Last edited by chotokukyan#4623 on Aug 26, 2022, 10:59:34 AM

Well, its pathetic anchoring. You want the game in your vision and take/push it, in your direction. Knowing very well, that it isnt appreciated by the vast majority. Hence you take 70%, of loot, just as example, away, to implement afterwards so called "fixes", that give 30% back.
Some people actually are falling for this crap?! If you would really feel sorry, just revert it or fix it in a direction that is appreciated by the vast majority. Your excuses are not believable. Kinda pretty dishonest crap, thats simply it. Shame on you for being spineless. |

How about an atlas passive that lets us opt out of Archnem?
I think that would save so many problems. Confront those who dare obstruct the transmission of your information with swift rejection, for they sit silently obsessing over your submission.

Thank you for the more in depth response to what has been going on with the game. I am a more casual player, but I would like to say that I have been having a great time this league. The challenging mobs are fun and if I find them to be really scary I just don't engage them (which is ok). The 1% players are always going to complain no matter what you do and reddit is toxic. So please keep doing your thing GGG I still love you and support you.
BTW the new supporters packs this league are awesome!!! |

Was really looking forward to this league based on the preliminary info. Not a fan of archnemesis going core, but I guess I can just skip them - assuming they don't chase me down and kill me. Never liked it. Tolerated the difficult mods when opting into them during Archnemesis league, but was never crazy about it.
Metamorph is untouchable at this point, at least for me. Even on tier 1 maps, I can't scratch them. I was excited to spec into harvest in 3.19. I anticipated getting maybe one reforge craft per patch in low tier maps (Edit: before heavily juicing) -- two in high tier, and maybe up to about 5 per patch at heavy investment (very rarely more than that). I'm not seeing anywhere near that. With no investment in Harvest nodes, there are some patches that drop no lifeforce at all (Note: 0 lifeforce * 100,000,000 IIR * 100,000,000 IIQ = 0 lifeforce), and the drops from harvest monsters got nerfed heavily also. I am ignoring minions this league. I was running minion builds before ascendancies were even a thing. To be frank, even in those dark ages where I was one of very few rocking Zombies through the acts when it was pretty hard to do, I think I had an easier time back then than I would now... Tons of streamers and mega juicers who are a million times more dedicated, experienced, skilled, and passionate about PoE are quitting the game. Things need to change for the better and soon. The only content worth running gets boring pretty quick (Heist, Expedition). Overall, I like the direction - having IIQ and IIR have more influence, QoL for Harvest that has been begged for by the community forever, the return of Scourge... so much good stuff (all unrewarding unfortunately), but it was not communicated... The only communication we received with regard to this change was "get your magic find characters ready." It is a PR nightmare that needs more than a 'we messed up' post at this point. Many players cannot even sustain Alchemy orbs and chisels, and the patches have not particularly helped in this regard. People need guidance on how to navigate such a massive change to how loot works in this game. If IIQ and IIR are going to have such a large impact on drops including currency moving forward, that creates some real tension on gear, particularly with how painfully difficult some of the content has become which is not necessarily a bad thing, but definitely something that is worthy of consideration. the BP meme from south park :D we're sorry... empty words. it doesnt change the fact that you went after the loot, thinking we would be happier with less currency....
