What Happened with Items

PoE used to be a game about difficulty. You worked for what you wanted to achieve and you had to use your knowledge of the game to reach your own goal.

For the last few years the game has been mostly a cakewalk and a lot of the streamers are just so used to easy free loot and insanely free crafting. I think that has changed the dynamic of the game a lot and it goes against the core of what attracted me to this game all those years ago in Talisman HC league.

Please don't give in to the people that want PoE to be just another generic and boring free loot simulator. Having to grind and problem solve is what made PoE great and why I have stuck around for so many years.

This patch has been amazing and feels closer to that problem solving game I fell in love with. You did some amazing things with 3.19 please don't abandon them because of a few entitled people.

INCOMPETENCE

Did few heists in area 82-83 solo, my character has defensive auras and do few millions DPS.
This is a completely frustrating rip lottery, alot of stress, for PEANUTS.

This is 100 times worse than before, totally disgusting fail of balance, corrections, difficulty etc... When i think i wasted hours polishing my item filter

Then i see how they cracked it with party and mechanics :





Bankrupt is your only way.

Main problem is that any global change with loot NEED testing many days. Only AFTER testing go to real servers. Now we see that all this changes with drop was not testing well, all Chris and team do just say game looks good, all fine, but that not true. Facepalm

Just make an open beta with some of The new content disable, from the announcement till relase or 1 week.

I am having fun and it feels "normal" on my level. Would love divine shards though.

I didn't mind the league reward wise even before the buffs to all content.
The only thing I really was for is nerfing multimod monsters a bit because they either oneshot you or you cannot kill them because they are almost immune to your damage type.

I was thinking about this as well. Would be nice to change Exalted cards and shards to divine.

can you spawn an archnemesiss mob to fight sirus, i bet archnemessis mob will kill sirus by spawning a totem and hit the totem instead of sirus or by being afk till his shield bash skill will defeat sirus.
i dont want to die anymore so i come back next league hopeful without archnemessis mods.

the easyness(well game was never easy, was ever unpredictable) is gone only struggle if you dont follow meta builds/guide/ creativity is not supported.
this game should be conqured by anyone and anything only the uber and pinnical bosses and stuff should be extremly hard and meant to min-max your charakter to its limmits.
you should be able to play any skill gem in the game
energy sield should be playable, but if you dont go grace determination deffiance banner lifereg and stack a lot of armor and only hop on discipline good luck endure a hasted rare mob with an vulnerability totem around it

I've been hording chaos and exalts for 8 years.With one patch note you made all my exalts worthless.There have been many times when I wanted to convert my chaos to exalts because my currency tab is full but I rathered buy another currency tab so I can continue hording.Can you imagine how stupid I would've felt if I changed 100 c for 1 ex just to have it be worth 20c now? I have played most leagues but I also play standard , is that wrong?Aparently it is since you punish us 4 times a year.

What about all my items priced in exalts on standard?!Am I supose to go ahead and change them all to divines now?It seems like I am just supose to forget about standard completly.Every league I had problems with sorting my stash on standard mostly with maps.Now I am supose to redo it all?!I would't even know were to start.And in 3 months you'll screw me over again.

Last leagues I haven't picked up a single rare in red maps , that's the problem.My inventory after a map was always full of bubblegum currency always had to click 12x6 or times to pick them up and 12x6 times to stash them.It's very strange when a super rare thing drops and all you can see is it's equivalent in currency , when already all we picked up was currency...
