Improvements to Item Drops

This seems like it'll do almost nothing. " If item quantity has still be substantially lowered, is 25% of the current quantity not a pittance of what we previously had? What's 25% compared to how much percentage we actually lost with these changes? " Weighting on targeted crafts are exponentially lowered, making Harvest one of the biggest slot machines in the game. The Harvest craft reduction will not stop players from picking other content that guarantees loot. Again, why would players bother attempting to craft their item(s) when Heist can drop them enough currency to simply purchase it? Why not just play Expedition and use the trade website more than Harvest itself? Crafting used to be [generally] deterministic, with hints of gambling here and there to add some flavor. Now it's just pulling the slot and hoping you get something; but even when you do, you've removed crafts like suffixes/prefixes. So, who cares in the end anyway? This is the first time in my seven years of playing this game that I contacted your support team to refund a supporter pack. And it's not even primarily about these changes, but about the complete lack of communication. I've spent so much money on this game because I trusted the company and their vision. But man, do all these manifestos and changes feel like such PR garbage. Genuinely feels like you don't have my best interests in mind anymore. |

loot drop rate is still gonna be visually lesser compared to last leagues, harvest is still bad, most of unique items is only good for starting your character but not good in end game(bring back some of harvest craft), tainted currency is already rare why nerf in the first place.
this patch is not enough but better than nothing, we will see how the league progress after the patch was deployed (not gonna expect too much). |

Why are people getting so excited for this post?
Archnemesis still in the game, wrecking players. We still don't get the harvest crafts which make our gear progression easier back. All they plan to do is just to buff the loot drops, which couldn't compare with the above-mention. |

Nerf by 99%, buff by 25% and 33%, I'm sure it will make up for it, guess only time will tell. This reminds me of the post on reddit talking about negotiations, they lowball us with the huge nerf and then offer us the still bad 25 and 33.

If we lost 90% of the loot, now after this patch we instead lost 87%.
Folks, don't say " thank you!", it's exactly what they're wanting out of this. Loot is still massively nerfed, you think they relented and thank them for it, and forget all about it. Don't let them get away with it. Don't say " thank you". |

So the historic iir and iiq bonus is gone reducing drops by what feels like up to 90% to players and then you buff the drops by between 25% and 33%?
Yea..... That's still a massive, unannounced, unwarranted and unexplained nerf that you are very quiet about. You've been taking away power from players patch after patch after patch now, while adding that power to monsters in return while also adding nothing new in terms of league mechanics that is here to stay for a while now. (Kalandra is just other league mechanics in 1 area, sentinel was just zappy boys adding hp to mobs, arch-nem isnt a mechanic you can engage with (you have to and you cant influence it in any way), and scourge is beyond now but you nerfed the currency to a point of it hardly dropping AND being unusable when it does. Why? Tell us why all this nerfing was so sorely needed. The game was already hard for normal players, it didnt need further gating. And this post being so overly curt and clearly buthurt cause it is a development ''away from the vision'' is childish. Grow tf up and adapt to what players actually want to play or step aside for someone that can and wants to because this makes no sense and it's costing you long term AND new players. |
