guys, the issue with the rare mobs is not life, but some weird combination of mods that makes some of them immortal, archnemesis mods are horrible mistake... nobody likes them.
3.23 was the best league of all time (an absolute banger)
Archnemesis sucks. Im sorry but it does. Yes those mobs had waaaay too much health but that isnt even half of the issue. Every one of them also does too much damage and spits crap on the ground everywhere. You are constantly snared, slowed, or standing in something that hurts. Difficulty should be in bosses. Not random mobs scattered in every map. DS_Lily has a clip of her fighting a rare AN mob for almost three minutes and it dropped nothing. How is this ok?

Minion builds are all but dead. With max resists and tons of added life you CANNOT keep them alive in maps against harbingers or most archnemesis mobs. I dare you to prove me wrong. You can say that you tested it and it feels fine but I will say you are clearly lying to push this stuff in anyway. One of the best minion players in the game - who is normally quite even tempered mind you - was literally yelling at his screen at how stupid the situation is. Zombies with added minion life support gems AND in the new minion gear die almost instantly to some of the AN mobs. Spectres evaporate. Animated guardians that are quite expensive to build die in seconds. Its a bad situation.

Loot drops stink. This includes random currency as well as uniques and rares. I decided to try a build that seemed fun and as it turns out, what used to be a common 1c unique at best is currently sitting at 13.5 divines on trade because there are none of them. This is in part due to the absolutely gutted drop rates of everything in the game.

You want people to craft but you nuked drop rates of crafting currency as well as the most important harvest crafts for crafting items in the end game. Look at the most prominent faces in the game. Streamers that have been very successful. They don't like the game right now. The perpetually happy Steelmage is in a haze at how there is nothing to do. Ben is explaining the importance of the crafts you removed to HC SSF players. People who drive players to your game by streaming hc runs or insane group play are quitting. How can you die on this ridiculous hill you are building if there is no one there to care to watch?

I have seen something like this one time before. Star Wars Galaxies. They changed the game in a fundamental way and people literally quit. The game died not long after. I know that you think you know better. I know that you want to create the hardcore diablo experience that you had years ago but that is not your player base now. The players that buy MTX and supporter packs pay your salary. Stop ignoring their feedback because you think you know better and have a different vision.
If we really want to change the direction this game is going, we do have quite a bit of power. Everyone who has a Mystery Box or Supporter Pack from this league file a refund request. I obviously love the game even though I am terrible at it but I have not bought a pack since this nerf make everything hard philosophy began. GGG, make things fun and rewarding for players as a priority.
I have faith that we will end up in a good state, regardless of whether these changes are enough to get us there. Thank you for continuing to tweak your game and delivering quality content updates every 3 months.

Personally I've been having fun even with these reduced loot rates but I'm just pushing red maps now, really, so we will see if I hit a brick wall.
Hi,

it should be clear to you rn that people rage and quit the game bcs they geniuenly care about this game. I love this game just like everyone else here giving feedback we dont outrage bcs we want to hurt you or anything its bcs we really care about the game just like you do, but i have never seen so many people quit so early into any league, remember when cluster jewels came out and herald shit was fckin overpowered? THAT WAS STILL FUN.
YIKES
Nothing on ultrawide support removal? Nothing on loot not dropping? Archnemesis still feels terrible. 4500 hours of gameplay and I can't even find the motivation to play this league. It's dropping league after league with these changes. This is so sad watching my favorite game turn into whatever this is.

My game just crashed 5 times before I even got in the game. It's also not updating yet.
Loot was hardly relevant at any given time, on its own. It's how I experienced the game at first and how it kept feeling until a year ago when I took a break from it - again. Mostly because the game felt like you guys only feed enjoyment to a certain part of the playerbase. The one that tends to have PoE as a job.

However, it wasn't all bad, if you, in your infinite wisdom didn't decide to gut the crafting and move the game to poe.trade.

'Cause you see, you can't NOT have good loot 99.9% of the time and also no other way to improve it than to grind 8h a day.

So, there's quite the issue here. High difficulty - from tanky mobs to 1-shot mechanics galore - too much rng where it shouldn't be abundant (talking about the sorry excuse of a crafting system you're flexing in PoE) and the game's relying too heavy on trading... I mean, what's the point of doing anything inside the game if all you can hope for is for currency to get gear from others that have either the time or the financial motivation to play the game?
