What We're Working On

Personally, I like the league so far beside the essence monster or some Rare monsters being unkillable or overpowered (I just skip them).

Killed my first eldritch boss yesterday and planning to kill the second tonight, (as melee build).

Kalandra maps got buffed so I will also start doing the maps I saved, everything looking good!
If I wanted fun to be nerfed, then I would go back to playing World of Warcraft -_-

I play Standard and the loot is gone, the odd rare mob drops some odd items. There seems to be a mix of rare mods that can make rares drop scarabs, I managed to get 12-14 scarabs from 2 of them so far. Which yeah is nice but the main bulk of other loot is gone.

Clearing a full t16 map and getting next to nothing just feels rubbish.

Seems even running max juiced maps with Magic Find "MF" isnt even worth the investment, often running at a loss. Fix this GGG???

Fix normal loot please, oh and buy my MTX.... LOL!
They really just posted a loot box ad at the end of this. Really. And clicks as an excuse? This is a hack and slash action rpg, ALL YOU DO IS CLICK!

Almost the entire base hates Archn, why can't they admit this and either..

A- make it like any other league with a % to spawn on maps, or better yet

B- just make it a map mod like beyond was. can have it as kirac crafts, sextants scarabs as well. But either way, just stop mixing it in with other league content.

I wonder if they really know has much $$ the last two launches have cost the company because of archn. I know a few people that quit early last league and never came back. I told them it was a very fun league after patches, but they found other things to do. This league seemed very hyped and I had hoped they would be back, but there's zero reason to even mention it now.

And these issues are sooooo painfully obvious from the start, I can't comprehend how this is making it past their "beta" testing. For years we all understood that being a small company that we were pretty much doing this as players, and generally everyone was cool with that, but with how they have grown, to consistently be releasing leagues in such an abysmal state is really inexcuseable.
does anyone that actually plays the game past level 85 test these expansions?your vision for what I imagine you think will be a "high player retention due to a slow burn, gradual progression/ whatever" is absurd.

the glory days of rpg's are over.
people need endorphin hits or they will go play something that excites them.

League is not fun, barely fleshed out almost seems like a beta test.

kalandra expansion is literally a talisman/synthesis hybrid with less reward than half of either of them.

let me tell you something ggg

1.rares ARE NOT loot, better rare bases ARE NOT loot
most rares are hidden by loot filter and the few ones that are picked by the players less than 1% is sellable.
the most useful rares are crafted (that you destroyed btw)

currency ARE loot, currency is what make the game feel good to play so you can buy stuff, tune your character.

no matter how hard you try to force players to pick up rares and identify them, THEY WILL NOT pick them, they are garbage

2. i think you have the manifesto to talk about the changes and the patch notes to show them, so why you blanlatly tried to sneak up nerfs on the loot drop???

3. is this the beta test for hardmode?? what other explanation it could possibly be?

4. your concept of archnemesis IS NOT working. you cant have a monster that deals several things at once while STILL hitting you and STILL do crazy damage. there is a difference between HARD and ANNOYING, and they are ANNOYING. if you want to keep archnemesis so badly, fine, let them do all the crazy things they do, let them be tanky, BUT MAKE THEM DO ZDPS. yeah, you cant have them do 30 effects at once that can kill you instantly.

5. this may be your vision for the game and you can try to force it to the players, but its more than clear that its not what the players want and they will leave the game, its hurting the game so much that the players started to questioning about PoE2 and its not even out already.

6. people want to play a game to have fun, not to have a feeling its a job and getting no satisfaction with it.

7. you may love those handful streamers and top players that welcome these changes, they may be your only players after a while of this.

The only thing I can say is, after 9 years of playing PoE: I'm stunned, disappointed, heartbroken. But you know what makes me even sadder? Your advertisement for MTX at the end...
I really thought it was just a quantity bug that you find less loot overall, but you guys did it. And you're not going to fix that, right?

I'm 31 years old now and I don't enjoy playing other games anymore, the only thing I had left was PoE...




I know this post will go under here, but I ask you: listen to your community. :(
In the campaign, there are no drops. If you don't heist, there is no mid-level gearing. Then that doesn't change at all.

There are a few archnemesis types that are bugged. No visual on screen tells me any of my minions are taking damage when WHOMP half of them are gone.
